Audio Crafters, Inc., serving most of central & south NJ and the entire NJ shore. We do basic audio/video service calls,tv mounted on wall or above fireplace, neatening, surround sound, home theaters, observation cams,wifi boosting and remote control programming. We`ll take the time to give you a neat clean job and educate/tutor in the easiest patient way possible. We live for this stuff. We want to make the experience as smooth as possible,and that`s why we DO NOT subcontract our work out and do it all IN House. We have a great team and can do the basic to the exotic. We can custom build a theater room, performance area/stage, recording studio or simply hookup a new piece of electronics. Whatever it is `We`ll hook you up`

It was an unnessassary hole, I found out later that there was no cable in there when the flatscreen was installed, the contractor would not come back out to correct and asked me to go to Home Depot to correct it myself. I could not do it by my self, it was a 2 man job. they wanted to charge $59.00 to fix hole.

"Bogus-funny how on job#1 we were 5*,and good.This client,a tv cameraman at WPVI6 Philly has a child with learning disabilities.He neglected to tell you that his son broke an old projection tv we hooked up properly that the son broke,,and they called us happily back to help for a new wall install,and we charged 1/2 the price of the 1st one.Then,FOR FREE,when THAT TV broke because he bought an off brand refurbished floor model from best buy,we swapped it out free on teh way home one day.WE VISITED several times after the initial ServiceMagic visit,which should be done and happy.Just b/c we aren`t going to patch a hole for you,after we give you a free service call well after yoru initial meeting with us,shouldn`t give you the right to go into your account and lower our rating b/c of sour grapes. When changing tv`s,in a limited space mind you,it exposed the footprint of the older tv and left a small hole about 4"x6" exposed from the OLD TV,not the new one. We did not even make this hole,but for the 1st tv,we used it to `tuck` some overage wire away,but when we installed the new wall tv,we didn`t need to use the hole that WE DIDNT MAKE. The older tv covered the wall hole,and now a subwoofer/speaker covers the hole.It is not letting in outside air or bugs,as it goes nowhere and WE DIDNT MAKE IT so why should we patch it during a free service call to HELP YOU? This in in grateful .This was serviced in 2012.We QUIT ServiceMagic(HomeAdvisor) because of this person,it took us 5.5yrs to reconsider re-joining.We will try it out.We welcome any prospective clients to check all our reviews everywhere."

They were great! We had a TV mounted on wall with a few challenges. They were professional, made sure everything was in working order, cleaned up all wires, etc. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I have had the pleasure to have Lou and his team from Audio Crafters (AC) finish my basement. Lou was involved right from the very start helping design the basement. His ideas were very creative keeping cost in perspective. Lou's team drew the plans, worked with our township to get the permit. His team did everything from start to finish. He was also very accommod Before I selected Audio Crafters I did a thorough research and met with several contractors but decided on AC for several reasons - Lou's knowledge, his own thoroughness, very detail oriented, and best of all price. His price was fair compared to a lot of the other contractors

I couldn't be happier-- AudioCrafters sold me and installed a 52-inch plasma TV, home theater system, & ceiling speakers that they wired throughout my house. Lou's crew also custom-built (rebuilt) my fireplace mantel and a created a matching closet (also custom-built) for the electronics. Lou spent a lot of time up front talking with me about what I wanted, answered all of my questions, & made great recommendations about the electronics, the design, & my budget throughout the project. They completed it in great time & at a great price, and everyone on the crew was extremely professional & courteoud & thorough. I highly recommend AudioCrafters....................... On an Update, the ipod speaker volume varied throughout the home and they kept saying they would try to come up with a solution but the failed to fix the varied volume. The universal remote and the home theater reciever both broke within 2 years and they could never explain why. I sent an email asking for help and telling them my problems and they kept putting me off so finally I had to put in another request through HomeAdvisor to have someone else fix it

Lou and his two men did a fantastic job. They planed the project before starting the actual work.The three men knew exactlly how to attack the job, with everybody starting in a different room. They did not rush and they installed all of the wiring were you could not see it. When the project was completed, the rooms were put back exactly the way it was when they started. There arn't too many contractors as clean as Audio Crafters, and I would recommend their services to anybody. Job well done.

My wife said your team was so professional and clean she didn't even know they were at the house, no wires laying around, or dirt left behind from you digging trenches, etc... This company was great. They came out right away and gave a fantastic quote. They arrived when they said they would. The price was exactly what they quoted. Most importantly they had the problem diagnosed quickly and had it corrected in no time. They even attached (on my approval) our video gaming system to the surround sound. One of the most interesting things was they were not interested in selling a bunch of add-ons. They could have sold me a lot of cables that I didn�t need, but they took the time to go through the pile of wires that I had stored in my basement and used as many as them so that I didn�t need to purchase any others. Before they left they took the time to instruct me on how to work the surround system and even written it down.

"Client speaks broken English.Claims to be a retired BellLabs lead engineer w/cellular tel patents we all use today.If HE doesnt understand our `lingo` for running 3 $59 cat5e lines then who does?.This was clearly wire running only that he tried to manipulate Jr techs into doing work not agreed to nor charged for,and was done anyway.When he called 2 days later saying his wife didnt like the outlet locations,if we could move for No Charge,we advised we can but at a fee.Since then has harassed us via all mediums and yet all we did was contract for wires ran,not free additional work.This is the 1st ServiceMagic client We are truly dissapointed in"

they pulled together a complete home theater in Two days. I origiannly booked through best buy, but had terrible service. So I cancelled my service and was so happy..I ended up saving over $800 and they did some electrical work which best buy does not do. Will be calling again for the basement...
