Austin's Greater Garage Doors

I can't speak highly enough about Dale and the guys at Austin's Greater! They replaced my spring last year and this year the 28yo wiring seemed to be to be the issue. Other companies wanted to charge me $800 plus to replace the whole system. Not Austin's Greater, they actually diagnosed the problem to a poor connection and fixed both sides connection realizing the haphazard installation 28 years ago needed to be done better. They were in abs out and done in under 30 minutes with a coat under $100. Thank you again for not trying to rip people off, for seeing through the customers eyes, for listening and diagnosing rather than rip and replace. You've done me right twice and will be always my go to.

He knew more than the manufacturer support line and was able to fix the opener itself in a minute. Then he installed additional items and made sure I knew about the technology.

I spoke with Steve yesterday. He was VERY interested in taking care or my garage door problem as if we were neighbors. He listened well and figured out the problem I was having as well as having a solution. I mentioned that I need to use a cane or at times a walker. I mentioned that just to let him know the importance to me of using that entryway. His empathy toward me was something I’m not used to when dealing with most service vendors. He proposed a solution that by installing an automatic opener (what a great upgrade) that he thought it would help my daily struggle. He wasn’t concerned about the price. Wow! Now that’s CUSTOMER SERVICE! When Dale came out to install the new opener he was courteous, and very efficient with his work. Both technicians that Austinâ s Greater Garage Doors sent out performed well, and the owner, Steve, was friendly and helpful. The younger tech who arrived Friday tried his absolute bestâ he righted the wheels into the track, and reattached torsion wireâ ¦. But the trolly and traveler assembly on the rail had been damaged by my accident, requiring a new part, which Steve sent out Monday with Dale, a very experienced technician. He was great, didnâ t mind me watching and asking questions to educate myself a bit. And the price that each of the two service visits ended up costing me was significantly less that what I was expecting. In this time in which many businesses seem to maximize profits by sticking it to the customer, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their charges to me were. RECOMMENDED, WITH TWO THUMBS UP!
