They broke their own contract on the cancellation, before you hire theses people please read the customers reviews. This will set you back, DO NOT take on this stress. These people are family owned and heartless

Here is the review!!! If you are looking to be scammed, this is the moving company to choose! They will lure you in with attentive and consistent communication, a reasonable price, and what appeared at the time to be a fair delivery time window. Also, if you are moving out of state, they will subcontract you out to even MORE scammers, if you did not think that was possible just wait and see they subcontracted another company as you can imagine, Authority Movers did not disclose this!)! I was told multiple times that my out of state move would take 4-7 days. Guess what? Multiple that 7 Days by about 4. Yes, you read that correctly! I moved on April 25th, to have my things arrive on May 20th! The 4 to 7-day frame turned into digging into the fine print of reading that they really have 21 BUSINESS DAYS and you better bet they intend on using it. If you are still interested in moving forward, I will give you a little tidbit of advice, purchase an AirTag! I put an AirTag in my boxes and on my several follow up calls there were occasions where I was blatantly lied to (them telling me they were in route) when I could see they were sitting at their warehouse in NJ. Can not forget the time I was told my items were getting ready to be shipped the next couple hours (this was a Thursday night) only to find out Saturday that they could not find a driver due to the Mothers Day weekend. Note to self, make sure your sub logistics company does NOT observe hallmark holidays. If you want to further the scam, their payment methods will surely seal the deal! I was told at first Zelle/Venmo would work for the pickup payment with sub contracts , as the first payment was done via CC with Authority Moving. Well, conveniently over a week later I was told this was incorrect, you guessed it! They only would accept methods of payments that no doubt the IRS would deem acceptable good old wire transfer! But of course, what option do you have when these trustworthy folks have all your belongings. It gets better! They will also just happen to do â research on your street before telling you your things are en route to let you know that their truck would not be able to make it on your street and you would require a shuttle. So, for a fine price of $700 extra I was told my things would be forthcoming. When finding out my options, the polite woman on the phone told me (in AZ at the time) that I could just get my own truck in NJ. Customer service was five stars, indeed. After many nags about wanting to pay with Zelle, it MIRACULOUSLY was an option again at the final payment. Amazing! The drop off was sunshine and rainbows as one would expect, the driver was incredibly rushed to get to their next drop off location. Do not even bother labeling your boxes with key words like â fragile or indicating which was is up on the box. This does not matter! All boxes were upside down, it was great for anxiety seeing the driver and his partner tossing these boxes to each other from the truck! All in all, if you are looking for a great moving experience that involves scams in all directions, I would recommend giving this organization a call!

I only gave this company a single star because zero stars was not an option. I hired these guys last summer from the Midwest to the east coast. They were very competitively priced, which in hindsight should have been more of a red flag, but they had good Google reviews. (I now believe many of these reviews are fake.) I believe they are actually brokers instead of movers, as I learned later. They subbed the actual work out to a ragtag outfit called Safer Movers who had horrible reviews that they had clearly earned. Safee Movers showed up a day late in a rented U-Haul to pick up our stuff. They looked at our full 12 X 14 storage space, informed us that it was more than they had estimated, and almost doubled the price. So much for their competitive price! In any other business scenario, I would have aggressively I had given them the exact dimensions of the storage space, and detailed all of the significant pieces of furniture, etc. But they had me over a barrel. I had flown in from the east coast, was â scheduled to fly back that evening, and they were already a day behind. They were supposed to deliver it the following week, but they did not show up or call. I called Affordable Moving Experts a number of times, and each time I was assured it would be later in the wee or early next week. They often failed to return calls, and I almost always had to call them to get an update. Finally, after more than a dozen calls, they showed up a month and a half late on a Sunday and refused to unload the truck unless I paid them in cash. They would not accept a credit card, which is how I paid the deposit. Nor would they accept a check. I do not know about you, but I do not keep thousands of dollars in cash on hand on the off chance that I will be extorted by an unscrupulous mover. I had words with the owner who threatened to take our belongings back to his warehouse in a different state and charge $600/day for storage if we did not pay him in cash, which was pretty rich considering he â supposedly had already been storing our stuff for free for over a month and half. I ultimately ended â up having to call the local police, who gave them the choice of either unloading the truck or getting arrested for theft and extortion. And I paid them with a check. I will conclude by strongly recommending that you never do business with this company. In my opinion, they are scam artists, not a legitimate moving company.

If you are considering AME to your move, I would highly recommend choosing another option. I have never written a review before in my life, but working with AMEs team has single handedly been the worst and most negative experience in my life. Similar to other negative reviews on here, my sales rep sounded very cool to begin the process, but I never heard back from him again (Nolan) after my deposit went in. I then spoke with Jake 3 days prior to the moving company coming and during this conversation, I was extremely detailed in all of our items, hence I received an updated quote that was about $700 more - which was fine to me at the time since I felt like I accounted for everything. When moving day came, CR7 (based in NJ), spent 5 minutes looking at all of my stuff, and immediately said it would cost twice as much money to take everything. I tried getting in contact with Danielle and received 1, maybe 2 updates from her. Basically saying there was nothing I could do. The reason given (my boxes were bigger than anticipated) absolutely does not reflect twice as much money......... Fast forward 6 hours of me basically negotiating/haggling with CR7 in how much stuff I could take for certain price points and then how much stuff I would have to sacrifice. I mean seriously, this may have been the worst experience of my life. I ended up sacrificing multiple personal boxes, my sectional couch, our families rocking chair in the baby room, my toddlers bookshelf, our kitchen table + chairs. The slimiest part of this is that it seemed like CR7 movers just took my stuff for their own gain. I was not planning on spending thousands of extra dollars that day, so I felt like I had to sacrifice in order to come to a resolution. THE WORST PART OF EVERYTHING: I am potentially going to have to wait ONE FULL MONTH before our stuff is delivered, based on a projected delivery date update from CR7s administration team. There is no way in hell that I would have moved forward with AME had I known what I was actually going to be dealing with. How are we supposed to get by without our stuff for one full month? What a disgrace. I feel completely cheated and would wish this on no one else.

Long and short of it: I had an out-of-state move, was contacted by Jayson Dior regarding my upcoming move and he was UBER friendly. Sounded like a nice person and I NAIVELY paid the deposit quite fast based on the info he had provided. Promised I'd get a call back the Friday coming up to go over logistics. COOL. I waited, no call. I had to call them back the next Monday. I'm a business woman who works from home and I don't like my time being wasted. A verification email was apparently sent on Thursday hence why I didn't get a call (email never came)- but there was no communication to that regard! Combing through the verification email, I realized there were 2 major issues: 1. Jay mentioned a "flight of stairs" being covered in the quote, but didn't specify it was 10 STEPS. Anything over would be an extra charge! 2. Delivery to my new address was not guaranteed. THIS is the HUGE problem for me, because my stuff has to be delivered on a specific day! Jayson made it sound like it was going to happen that way, but lo and behold... Next day I reach out to the moving company and now someone else is in charge (Salvatore)- who matter-of-factly states that everything was outlined in the document I signed prior to paying (big mistake on my part, lesson learned) and that none of my deposit would be getting refunded. The only way to guarantee delivery on a specific day is to pay an extra $2500! WTF????? In this economy? I've been saving up for MONTHS to make this move and I have 2 children to care for! I feel duped- there was no clarity on that first call with Jayson, who has chosen to remain unavailable after the fact (I've attempted multiple times to get a hold of him but I'm always advised by Danielle that "he isn't handling my account anymore". I understand losing my deposit of over $1,000, but there needs to be ACCOUNTABILITY. This is NOT the way you run a business!!!!! Unless you want to lose money, I wouldn't hire them. Im making alternative arrangements for my move which I should have done to begin with.
