Chris did a very good job. He's incredibly personable. My only little regret was not getting it done a bit sooner. I waited a little more than a week to start. He's a busy guy. While the wait was totally understood, I'm in the process of trying to sell my house. The extra few days had buyers asking about the needed repair. I would hire him again though.

I hired Aveni to repair two of my walls. Dennis did a fantastic job.

Chris did a walk through with me and at that time we went over everything that needed to be done, later that night I got a text message from him stating the price excluding some of the material. I agreed for him to start the work, a project that was supposed to take 7days turned into a month and a half, he never completed the work nor returned my keys. Upon paying him the final payment, He created new invoices stating that these four/five things were not included on the original quote, which was incorrect information on his part due to the fact he had ripped/ removed all the items on the very first demo day. Along with all these issues he ruined things in my house along with braking my toilet, putting a huge hole in my screen and breaking a new $500 mirror as well as not being able to bring a vanity upstairs and me having to pay my movers to move it for him, he also extremely scratched another vanity that was very costly. Upon him never returning my keys I had to purchase a new lock and keys for the front door. He was very unprofessional and lied about being a licensed contractor. I paid him a total of $9,198.10 and his employees bought $250.00 worth of appliances for a grand total paid to him of $9,448.10. Now I have to find a licensed contractor to fix his awful paint job and complete the work he failed to finish.

Hired them to do some gutter work and paid them $500 as a deposit in early December. To date they have done nothing but give me a bill. They will not return my phone calls.

Called right away and followed up. Arrival was on time. They were fast and efficient, personable, and tidy. The price was very reasonable. Overall, an unexpected very good experience. I will most assuredly request them again. I am extremely satisfied.

Chris Did a very good job installing an 8’ tall x 6’ wide pre hung dual swing out closet doors. He also installed all the molding around the doors. The doors open and close true.

best handyman I've ever had!! Dennis was punctual and well versed in every aspect of Home repairs. We had drywall, painting, Plumbing, concrete work, stonework and repair. you name it and he does it. Dennis was very professional and thorough. the prices were very fair and was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company.

they do their work in a timely matter

I had Chris Aveni paint the inside of my 96 year old mothers mobile home for resale last year. I was out of town when he finished so i had my realtor pay him but when i returned i realized what a horrible job he did. The job was sooooo bad that when we finally sold the unit the buyer said they wanted the entire job redone before they would buy the home. i said i would have him come back and repaint it but the customer said the job was sooo bad they wanted another painter to do it. So after paying Chris over $3000 i had to repay a brand new painter to completely repaint the entire place which cost me an additional $2500. called Chris and told him what happened and told him that my 96 year old mother should not have to pay twice because he did such a lousy job. He agreed it was a terrible job but said he had no help and he had just been having problems lately. I suggested that he give my mom at least a partial refund and he said i have a family and kids so i don't have the money to refund you any money. I suggested a payment to my mom for maybe $100 a month or something because she does not have enough money to throw $3000 away. He said he wasn't going to give us any kind of refund and implicated that I couldn't sue him, I think because he is an LLC and it is very hard to sue an LLC. He is mistaken because i am still going to pursue getting some kind of financial satisfaction from him but he just does a crappy job and figures that the customer can't do anything about it. In fact he told me there was nothing I could do about it. He may end up being surprised because i have had a lot of work taking care of my 96 year old mom but have not forgotten and am still going to pursue getting my mom some kind of reimbursement. I would not use Chris Aveni to paint anything or do any job at all. He does not care about doing good work because he believes he cannot be sued and it is a hassle to sue an LLC so I would have given him no stars if I had the option. I would give him a 1 as a painter but a -2 as a person. Even when he knows and admits he did a crummy job he just says tough luck there is nothing you can do. We will find out.
