I wouldn?t recommend Avid Plumbing based on my experience. I called them to install a water shutoff valve and check a leak, but the visit felt like guesswork. The plumber, Thomas, basically did nothing and seemed unsure what to do and even had to call someone about the valve. I overheard that person suggest we were being shady and told Thomas to not install the valve, which was frustrating since we already confirmed everything with the city. For the leak, he guessed it might be from the roof even though it was in the basement, and made no attempt to diagnose it. When asked if he could run a drain snake to check for a clog he said they dont do that. I was still charged $75 plus about $40 for ?diagnostic/labor.? When I questioned the diagnostic/labor fee, the owner dismissed my concern and justified charging for simply being at the property. It just didn?t feel like I got any real service for what I paid. Save your money and call a company that actually sends licensed plumbers.

Avid pluming, what a great company ! My wife & I moved into our new house and after 2 huge water bills and some phone calls to our water company found out that the old toilet in the basement had a small leak. We contacted Patrick @ Avid plumbing. He was so friendly and showed sincere concern about our problem and put us on the appointment schedule the same week. With just about everyone in the service industry being short staffed right now I really appreciated him getting us scheduled. The day of the service plumber Art let us know when he would be arriving. Upon arrival he wore his booties over his shoes and wore a facemask as well. Art was so polite and listened patiently to our "story" and inspected the basement where the broken toilet is. He explained to us what our different options are regarding replacing this old toilet or fixing it. After we decided he worked diligently and gave us updates on his progress. When he was all finished the explained to us exactly what he did and how to monitor if a problem like this would happen again. He was such a nice young man and we are grateful for his concern. The service experience overall from the first phone call to the nice lady at the office to Art was exceptional . My wife & I would recommend him anytime to anyone who needs an excellent plumber. Next day installation, nobody else could do that. The water heater I wanted was in their inventory, nobody else had it because of COVID shortages. Best installation techs I've ever had for service. Neat, clean, attention to all details, courteous, friendly. No extra charges for extra materials, like some do. This was perfect.

Called on Monday, installed by Tuesday afternoon. Softener electronic mother board defective from factory, replaced Tuesday by 5:00 PM by one of their employees on their way home from work.

After our well failed, we hired Avid Plumbing to install a new pressure tank for our domestic water. Roger, the plumber had to install plumbing for the new tank through a finished and unfinished basement, making it a complicated project. He did a great job.

Difficult to review because the first person did not even fix toilet correctly, but the company did instantly return my call just by seeing my phone number on the caller ID, the second person was completely competent, professional, and courteous.

Arrived on time. Installed the gas line in my kitchen AND he discovered that my water heater was leaking. So, the same day he replaced the water heater and took the leaking one away. Excellent service

I did not get the tankless heater I decided on a 75 gallon water heater.

I needed a new water heater as soon as possible and they were able to come the same day and replace my water heater. Very professional and completed the job before the end of the same day. These guys were great to work with. Thanks guys. Job well done.

Called Avid for a kitchen faucet repair that was a non-emergency situation but a real pain since it involved the hot water being shut off in the kitchen until it could be repaired. Brian came out a day & a half later and fixed it in less than an hour. He was personable, informative & courteous. Tammy in the office was great as well.

On time and work was done right and in a timely fashion.

Very prompt. Were at my house in a couple of hours for something that wasn't emergent. Great to work with and offered to clean up his own mess, which I told him I could get. Fast.

The work took half the time I expected and cost 20% less than I expected. And Eric and his team left the work site cleaner than they found it. I'll definitely call Avid the next timeI need a plumber.

They were on time, even requested to arrive earlier, and installed the new water heater in no time. I'm glad they attached their business card to the unit because I will call them again when plumbing repairs are needed.

Hired their install and repair services twice, both for sink and faucet installs. Once to replace an old concrete laundry tub and once for a new kitchen sink. Both times I called, a live person answered immediately and set clear pricing and ETA estimates. The plumber was very friendly, punctual, accommodating and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend them over other plumbers, including many of those that never even return voice mails.

Very prompt and respectful. They were nice to my dog!!!! Did exactley what I asked and charge was as estimate stated. No hidden or add'l fees! I found my new plumers. Thanks Michelle

Nice guy but ninety eight dollars an hour is way too much. Plus they managed to tack on inflated prices for plastic fittings which were supposedly needed.

Very accommodating and helpful. The work was completed in a timely manner. The 2 who worked on replacing the water heater were friendly and explained what they would do. They cleaned up before leaving and made sure I had no further questions. AVID plumbing was the most reasonably priced place out of 4 estimates I received and I would recommend them and will use them again if and when I need plumbing services.
