Reviews
Write a ReviewI contacted Trust EB Plumbing to install a new bathtub and deck mounted faucet set. I specifically requested Eli (the owner) to do the job. I was told I would have to pay an additional $100 to which I agreed because I was told Eli is a licensed plumber. The tub enclosure was empty and cleaned ready for their work. Eli told my husband he was going to install new brass fittings under our bathroom sink (where the tub plumbing originates). I gave Eli the faucet set with the directions, which he didn't want to bother reading. We had the brand new tub and drain kit for them to install. After about an hour Eli told me he was leaving his assistant to do the job. I told him to take his worker with him and was angry because at that time I was still under the impression Eli was a licensed plumber. He remained with his worker. They completed the job. I paid by check. I used the tub about 5 days later and noticed the water pressure was quite low and was concerned there might be a leak under the tub. Eli returned with a different assistant Dewey. I asked Dewey if he was a licensed Plumber and he said no he works under Eli's license. Eli believed the pressure to be ok. After realizing there was a problem and knowing my husband just installed new faucets in both bathrooms and our kitchen sink I searched how to test water pressure. The answer - get a one liter bottle and timer it should fill in 6 seconds. All my other faucets did however the faucet Eli installed took 9 seconds. They put painters tape on the tub surround, disconnected the top portion of the faucets and left. Realizing Eli seemed stumped I then looked up his licenses to learn that he is NOT a LICENSED PLUMBER, as he told us numerous times, but only has a business license with Hillsborough County. His guarantee is useless as he refuses to refund my money, able to fix the problem or return my calls. I gave him a week. I have since had a LICENSED PLUMBER review his work and no surprise he installed cheap plastic fittings under my bathroom sink (not brass as he told us he would use) and the hookups to the tub faucet set were not changed out as he said he would do (they are 20 years old). Honesty seems to be nonexistent with this company. Worst of all he drilled holes in the tub deck putting the diverter and handheld shower in the front and the faucet and hot/cold knobs far from the diverter on the side. Had he read the directions I gave him that came with the faucet, he would have realized how it works and that the layout he used would create a problem. The reason we hired a plumber is so that my husband wouldn't have to do the work and I wouldn't have to spend countless hours searching for solutions to the problem Eli and Trust EB Plumbing foisted upon us. I paid $1,366 to Trust EB Plumbing, $1,010 for the faucet and $2,200 + for the tub and drain kit. All this money, time and aggravation all because I wanted to believe Eli and the 5-star reviews I saw online. SAVE YOURSELF AND HIRE A REAL HONEST LICENSED PLUMBER. To date they refuse to refund my money.
Dewey M came out to my house within 2 hrs. of my call. Dewey is very knowledgeable and professional. Thought I had a whole house clog but it turned out to be a simpler fix. Dewey stayed a while to make sure the clog was cleared. I've used this company before and will continue to call them for my plumbing needs.
Technician Dewey M. was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. Very pleased with his work
Dewey Martin came out quickly and did an awesome job to clear my kitchen drain. He showed me the problem and informed me how I can avoid the same issue in the future. Very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Overall good experience. I little pricey but expected. Came out within 1 1/2 hours.
This is a small, family-owned company that provides high-quality work at moderate prices. You might find someone cheaper, but there's a difference between cheap and inexpensive. Communication with them was great, I was made aware of any issues, ad the installation was completed on time!
Great quality work.
