I hired them through Home Advisor. I talked to Tim to set up the appointment. This took awhile since I was still deciding on the TV. Tim came once to see the set up. It was a bit unique and we knew there would be a gap between the sound bar and TV. Once I bought the TV, he and his associate came and installed everything. The install itself was awesome. Did a good job to install. Unfortunately, the hiding of the cables was less than perfect. We knew there was a gap but the wiring was attached to TV by strips of duct tape. I would have preferred zip ties. The REAL issue was the service after. When I called to ask for a return visit to fix some issues, it took me 2 weeks to get a hold of them. Once I did, Tim said he would try to come within 2 weeks. That was 5 weeks ago. I have called and left messages. No return call or anything. I called several times and no live person answered. In summary, the install was 4 star however if you need their service to fix after, it's 2 star.

"Thanks for the review Maajed, we appreciate your business as always. The original plan was for you to buy a 75 inch TV so we wouldn't have a gap between the TV and the sound bar, and you also opted out of the soundboard to TV mounting bracket that would have solved the issue. we could return twenty times, but unfortunately that won't make your TV any larger to conceal the gap from the old tube TV cabinet. ps. you are welcome for us moving your old TV and cabinet to the second floor free of charge, even tho we did not receive a thank you from you."

TV Wall Mounting
I needed my speakers in my new house hooked up to a system. Instead Tim hung a TV too low, sold me a $500 TV remote that works 50% of the time and fried the motor on the fan in my theater room. He said he would come back and adjust the TV and I waited... waited. I called him and he said he had a supposed injury and started questioning me on why I didn't tell them it was too low when they were here... call a real professional!! Don't use them!!

"I love that my customers can leave reviews on our home advisor account. The least you could do is write something truthful. The equipment cooling fan that you mentioned had bad bearings and was screaming extremely loud, you asked us to disable it, so we did. The top of your TV is at 8.5 feet, we asked you how it looked and you said it looks good. The ProControl remote works fine, your 20 year old projector with the burned out lamp does not, and you know this. Your receiver that has a blown channel also is not our problem because you opted out of upgrading it. Your volger text messages and threats of extortion will not be tolerated."

Easy process start to finish. I was connected through Home Advisor, I set the appointment . The guys confirmed and were able to come one day earlier, which was good for us. They did an excellent job, cleaned up after and the mounts were professionally done. I'd hire again in a second.

Awesome AV with Tim at the lead was a BAD choice. We hired him to re mount a couple tv's that some else got over whelmed with and Tim came and did a sub par job for the money he charged!! He was on time tho so that gave him one star.. We DO NOT intend to hire Tim and Awesome AV for any other projects. Thank you Tim and Crew.

TV Wall Mounting
Awesome installed my 60" TV in a built-in cabinet. They suggested an articulating mount for this application which was ideal. I wanted to move all of my cable boxes and Apple TV to my basement and they handled that. They routed all of the HDMI cables through my wall and into the right spot in the basement. Very clean. They also provided a programmable control that replaced all of my individual device controls. Their personnel were friendly and professional. They arrived right on time. I was completely satisfied with their performance. First rate.

Tim responded quickly the first time. He did a beautiful job setting up our theater system. However, we discussed with him to do follow up work and he didn't show up to our scheduled appointment. He has been unreachable since. If you want him to come out for one day he's fine but don't expect him to follow up.

Tim was very flexible, punctual, and pleasant. When I spoke w/ him over the phone, I forgot to mention that I would be placing my TV over our fireplace. When he came, he didn't have the necessary equipment to complete the work but offered to drive to Home Depot to be able to complete the job. In the end, the mounting looks beautiful!

Tim's follow-up and timeliness were right on what he promised. My job was a clean-up of a previous install and thus took a little creativity and advice for how to address in the best way - Tim was great in being patient and open-minded regarding how to best address using my current/existing equipment and wiring.
