I hired Awnings Unlimited (Chris Rice) because my remote control awning stopped working. Chris showed up, after 2 hours looking for a parking spot in my neighborhood, and fixed the remote in about 1 minute. Needless to say, Chris is extremely knowledgeable of these remote controlled awnings and servicing them. Chris refused to take any money for his service. When has anyone refused to take money for fixing a product? I was really impressed with Chris' knowledge and his customer service focus. Plus, he didn't mind my 80 lb German Sherpherd jumping all over him. I will definitely call him again for additional services - replacing my old awning fabric.

Simply said, Chris gives excellent service. He's polite, knowledgeable, very pleasant to work with. The 2-person crew showed up right on the dot; they were efficient and (important to our situation) quiet. The price was a bit higher than I had hoped, but our previous awning company was out of business and this was the lowest price of the alternatives on HomeAdvisor. We didn't have time to research because the old awning could have falled onto a downstairs deck. So we booked the job on price and ratings without even knowing what the work schedule would be, due to the virus. Butt Chris was totally trustworthy and got back to us as soon as there was an opening for a small job like ours. We are very pleased with our re-covered awning. Thanks to Chris I can look forward to summer on the balcony without fear of (I'm being perfectly serious) provoking my dermatologist!

Chris Rice and his team are terrific. They follow through, work hard to do the job properly and are reasonably priced. The work is excellent. The repair job they did for me is A . I needed additional work done than we what we originally planned and while the guys were here fixing the awning, Chris drove from the Bronx to mid-town manhattan to get it all done at once. That’s awesome.

I got a response right away from Chris, and he came out to view the project the next day. He advised me that I didn't need to replace my whole awning mechanism, but simply the fabric. He was helpful in guiding my choice of fabric, based on color and trend, and patient while I flipped through a book of hundreds of fabric samples. The awning was produced more quickly than I expected, and a team came to install it right away. They were quick and professional, and put in some extra screws in the mechanism that I hadn't realized were missing. The team were all very personable and a pleasure to work with, and the installer was detail minded as well as efficient. I would highly recommend them.

Great communication throughout the project. The workers were fastidious cleaning as they worked. Friendly guys who were hardworking and courteous. The boss, Chris, listened to all my concerns before the job started and carried out all the specifics we talked about.

This is the worst company to deal with I run a 5th ave building terrible customer service do not stand behind their products that they install. Look for another company to do your work.

I was looking for an awning company to replace fabric on existing awnings that were very damaged. I was provided with several different awning contractors from HomeAdvisor and reached out to a few. I received a call immediately from Chris Rice of Awnings Unlimited. He made an appointment to see me the same day, gave me a fair price and provided me with color swatches the following day. I placed my order and Chris had his men pick up the awnings the next day. I was told that my awnings would be ready in one week and today (one week later) they were installed and look gorgeous. I have not had such a positive experience with a contractor in years. He followed through on everything he said and was a pleasure to work with. If you���re looking for an awning contractor, I would not look further than Awnings Unlimited and I would be happy for Chris to provide my phone number for a personal viewing of his professional work.

I got an immediate response to my request from Chris, the Awning King represntative, and scheduled an appointment the very next day. He was prompt and helpful. I ordered my awning, which was fabricated and installed within two weeks. It's been up since Friday, 8/12/11. The guys who installed it were prompt, courteous and professional. My awning is absolutely gorgeous! Even this torrential rain that we've had the past couple of days has not damaged it. I'm hoping it will last for years.
