I hired Mr. Ayala to remove a chandelier from the main entrance of my home and install a new one (much bigger and prettier) He completed the job and cleaned up everything and left me some extra chain in case the chandelier needed adjustment in the future. The following week, I was looking to install the old chandelier in the dining room (it was smaller and more appropriate there). I couldn't find it where the chain was put away so I called Mr Ayala. Shockingly, he apologized right away and said he threw it away!! I asked him why he would throw away a perfectly working chandelier that he knew I was going to eventually put in my dining room, and he said it was a misunderstanding and that I hadn't told him I wanted to keep it. Why would anyone need to tell you not to throw something away that works fine. Although his explanation made no sense, I asked him what he was going to do about his misunderstanding because I now don't have a light for my dining room. To date, I have not heard a word back from him and that was over a week ago. Very shady man and I would not recommend his services to anyone. He didn't even attempt to fix his mistake and is not concerned about having happy customers.
