    Excellent customer service. Mark went the extra mile and solved my appliance problem. This is a great Company to work with. Their Office is very efficient and Cory and Mark take the time to explain and then solve the problem! I would not schedule an appliance repair with anyone else!!!

    Horrible service! Our refrigerator has a malfunctioning door alarm. This fridge company listed service center sent an extremely inexperienced so-called service person (not Mark). He was just a kid. Whenever we asked him a question all he would answer is I do not know. In the end, he could not fix it and said we needed an expensive whole new door on a one-year-old fridge. We are not even sure we can trust his diagnosis. He said he would email an estimate. We did not get it. He said he would email a receipt for the $100 useless service visit. We did not get that either. He said the service charge would be applied to the repair. His office said it was not true. Then we were able to get the repair covered under a warranty, and asked that Ayers be given the job (so, we thought, the $100 would be applied), and the ever so kind woman in the office said they refused to do any work under a warranty because the fridge company was a horrible company to work with. So, no repair, and we are out the $100. So who is it exactly that is the horrible company to work with?

    I had an oven repair which got a rough estimate of $200 over the phone. Tech came to the house and quoted $250; understandable. Over the phone vs onsite quotes can change, no big deal. He stated the igniter was bad and needed to be replaced. He said he could get the part on Friday and would be able to make the repair on Saturday morning. I waited until noon on Saturday; no call, no show. I called them, and got a voicemail saying they were closed weekends. I left them a voicemail stating I was told the repair would occur on Saturday morning, but nobody ever called or showed. They returned my call on Monday, stating the part came late, but they had it, and could come to my house first thing Tuesday morning. I had to arrange to have someone at my house on short notice because I had to work. When they arrived, they performed the work, then said the price was $280+, after having a tech provide an initial on-site quote of $250. The new tech stated the price of the part had gone up, which caused the difference in price. I informed him I was told a price of $250, and I had spoken with someone just the day before and they made no mention of the price going up. After I spoke with him, he came back with a revised quote of $256, saying "that was as low as they could go." I wasn't going to quibble over $6, so I paid it. However, the fact that I had to jump through hoops for the "discount" price, which was higher than an initial on-site quote, to me, is still completely dishonest. The work itself was completed quickly. However, I would not recommend this company. I hope the repair holds out, as I do not wish to deal with them again.

    I described the problem and the make and model on the washer. They knew that repair would be over $700 dollars and buying A new one would be cheaper, they charge me over $90 dollars for a couple of minutes of zero work.

    When customers call our company, they are speaking with office personnel, not a trained technician. The tech needs to assess the machine's issues on location, therefore, our company charges a service fee. In your situation, our tech gave you 10% off that fee. After diagnosing your machine, we discovered what the problems were and gave you the estimate of costs for parts and freight. We look up costs from our distributors and charge accordingly. Even when you see an error code, technicians can't determine what the underlying cause would be until seeing it firsthand. In some cases , it is a simple fix. In others, it can be costly.

    Issue: 20 month old refrigerator freezer does not maintain temperature. Auto defrost not working. Placed a service call and it was returned in 15 minutes by the receptionist. Told that the mechanic would call me in the morning to setup a time to diagnose it that day. Mark showed up at the appointed time, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts & would call when they arrived. This was late Friday & parts arrived by Monday. He came 8 AM Tuesday, installed 2 parts & was done in 1 hour. Fast reliable service, worked quickly & efficiently. Mark is professional & courteous. Good communication & follow up. The cost for repair was reasonable. A good experience & highly recommend Ayers Appliance Repair.
