Write a ReviewEric Young came to my house to provide a quote to replace my furnace. My usual HVAC guy told me it needed to be replaced. While Eric was checking it out I asked if he could troubleshoot it and tell me why it wasn't working. He said for sure. So, I asked him how much. He said $69. I said do it. In less than 5 minutes he found what was wrong and fixed it! Wow. He told me the romex connector on the motherboard (that my HVAC replaced) was installed backwards so there was no power going to the furnace. That saved me thousands of dollars it would have cost had I listened to my HVAC guy! He's not my HVAC anymore. Eric Young is. He was thorough, efficient and pleasant to work with. I will contact Baker Electric from now on if I ever need their service again. I highly recommend them.

Baker installed solar panels with battery backup for us and did a fine job. We asked for a quote for air conditioning and the salesperson recommended a heat pump system which they claimed would provide both heating and cooling. Air pump worked great for AC but basically provided no heat when outside temperature was under 50. We are at 5K feet elevation. We had to have a propane furnace reinstalled for proper heating. We ended up losing over $16K to put things right. Baker refused to provide any reimbursement claiming we did not operate or maintain the heat pump properly. I have asked them repeatedly for any information pertaining to heat pump maintenance and operation with no response.

The A/C was not cooling the house. Although there is no need to run the A/C at this time, we thought it best to get the work done before it got warm. The technician, Junior, explained the entire diagnostic process and displayed the equipment readings so I would further understand the part that needed to be changed. He replaced the capacitor and scheduled a return visit when it gets warmer to further evaluate the A/C system at no additional charge.
Prompt, friendly, saved me a bunch of money! Have already referred my friends to them!
