Paladin Appliance Repair

I would give this company a minus star rating if I could. It is clearly a scam. They came out, diagnosed the problem, and called to order the part while we waited (or pretended to). We wrote a check for the part and labor for $331.55, oddly made out to the repair manâ s girlfriend rather than the company. They said these parts are hard to get and it would take several weeks. Several weeks went by and, when we called for a status report, they said they had COVID and were running behind but we were first on the list. Now it has been 6 weeks and no response to our texts and the voice mail is full. I am also cancelling my Angi membership because they sent out a documented scam man since 2022. WTH Angi??? They also will not resolve my issue because they are denying that they are associated with Paladin and I must have found him somewhere else. In fact, the last Angi associate I talked to simply hung up on me. So Iâ m clearly out this money while my freezer continues to leak.

At first, they were reliable till I paid by check $200.00. I did not hear from the Service Pro ever since. He is facing legal action right now.

They appeared to be a very nice couple but they had no follow through. They have stopped responding to my calls and my text messages. They are complete silence now.

I have being waiting over a month for my part, and there is always an excuse of why the have not received it you cannot get on touch with them over the phone, you can leave an SMS and they would not return your call and they have an excuse for that. I would like to get my money refunded.

I would not recommend them to nobody.

they came on 2/10/2023 - said I needed a part - it would take 3 days to get part - I paid for the part - they said they would call or email updates to in 3 days - since then I have not seen or heard from them - today is 2/24/23 - I have called and emailed them 3 or 5 times - no response

Arrived on time, 2,13th,diagnosed the problem and stated they could pick up the part in the morning and return after lunch to complete the repair. Requested minimum payment of $300. To go to Orlando for part. Paid with a check. Did not hear from them until 2days later. Said the wrong part came in and had to reorder and would get it Friday 17th. Unable to contact them and phone goes to answering machine and mail box is full. Texted them with no response! It has been one week since only contact after they left with our check.

I would give a negative number if I could. They came out, explained what was needed and wanted a 100% deposit. He told me he would be out a week ago and never contacted me. I have been reaching out to them with no luck.

they are rip offs! on 2/3/23 I hired them to fix my garbage disposal & paid them $270 upfront to do the work & order the part. as of 2/18 the job is still not done & contacting them has been very difficult.last time i heard from them they said they their truck had broken down & were behind on orders but that I was a priority & they would be there on 2/17. they were no shows, no call, no nothing. my check is cashed. now i can only assume they took my money & ran. even if that's not the case, they way they've handled this is seriously nonprofessional.

They take money up affront, they promised to come back and repair it but they did not show up or call, they said that they have scheduled for today and I waited all day and they did show up. I definitely will not recommend them to anyone

Bad service, they took the money I had given them for parts and now they do not call or respond to any of my communication

They were very good about communicating with me. They actually were on time, within the window given, but let me know that it would be closer to the latest time they gave me before their arrival. I was given an exact estimate before the work was done and a full 1 year warranty on parts and labor! Very rare that you get a full year. They were willing to make a Saturday call without charging me an arm and a leg! Iâ  ll happily recommend this company to anyone who needs repair work done. They were fast and efficient and had the parts needed to do the job that day!

They seem to be a SCAM They came and took the machine apart and said it required a drain pump that they supposedly removed. They said they had to order it and that they would be back to install new one in 2 days and charged us 224.99 which we gave them a check to pay in full. They cashed the check however, it has been 2 weeks still not repaired. When you call, you get answering machine which goes to a full mailbox. The few times I was able get though I was told part had not arrived and they would call when it did. Told last time it was told it was suppose to arrive Friday or Monday. STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM. I WANT MY MONEY BACK IN FULL. I am done with them HOMEADVISOR AND PALADIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The repair was promised for the 6 of February and they never told me if they received the part or not. I have received non communication by them since the 31st of January, none whatsoever.

No recommended to anyone at all

Wanted cash payment in full, dated the receipt as completed when they know they needed a part that was not even in, it is supposed to be 1 week but it has been over 3 weeks, you get a lot of runaround and excuses with the contractor when you call

this company says they are owned by a veteran. I am a veteran, and these people ripped me off. Do not advance these people any money prior to work being done. They are con artists. Do not be a fool, I would not recommend them to a dead man. I lost $155 to them. They were supposed to come today, but they haven't come nor have they answered any phone calls, or tried to call us back. I should have read the reviews firstI We will never call again.

Please do not call them. If you want to waste your money, call them because they are just going to take your money and not repair anything.

They did an excellent job with a refrigerator. they got from me $300 for an item to replace a washer machine drop and since that, I did not get any answer or resolution from them

Came the same day. Took care of the problem and we are near and efficient. I would recommend them and use them again

Great teamwork, came same day, ordered my parts and were back within a week to install. Overall great company and customer service, small businesss are always the best!

They call right away, answered right away, and wanted $150, and as I was not comfortable with that they just asked me for $70 all the communication was ok until the date that they had to do the installation they did not show up or answered my calls

You guys should not hire him.

I am very upset, I am losing over a thousand dollars worth of food, they do not contact me, and I probably would not use Angi again.
