I have never had a worse experience with a contractor than this one with BCU. The biggest problem was the schedule. Prior to signing, he said the project would be started immediately and be done in 1.5 weeks. It took over 5 weeks to complete the project. BCU was balancing way too many projects. One person would show up for 3 hours every few days to show progress for the first 3 weeks. The majority of the work was done in the final 2 weeks. Second, BCU does not know how to read plans. Some measurements are off by 2 feet! I routinely had to check their measurements. This ultimately led to a structure looking different than my plans and them having to --manufacturer- a gutter to fit (which leaks like a siv). Third, BCU takes no responsibility. Everything was either my fault, the weathers fault, etc...never theirs. Fourth, I identified several issues during final inspection. He demanded a check before fixing them or threatened a lien. We agreed on withholding $200 till the issues were fixed. I never heard from him again. Fifth, he knowingly (and admittedly) left debris and garbage on my property, shed, and driveway the last week to guarantee payment. I iterated my need to have the driveway or shed several times to no avail. Long story short, stay away from BCU! Bad attitude, bad business practice, and incompetent craftsman. The end result looks pretty good, but the process to get there was terrible, and the structure inherently is different than the one on paper.

Brian and his team are dedicated,efficient and meticulous workers who take pride in their work. Brian is very detail orientated and does quality work. Extremely pleased with my front porch roof. Several neighbors complemented me on the quality of his work. I would definitely recommend BCU contracting...5+ stars.
