Excellent system has held up very well. Was installed in 1989 and when I bought my home in 2010 the lifetime guarantee transferred easily to me. My basement remains dry, however, with the destruction of a tract of woods uphill behind my house and the increased rains this past year, my pump was operating pretty much non-stop since September. I became concerned about possible pump failure and outflow blockage at the street which occurred every time the snow plow went by. I contacted Mike at B-Dry of Southern NY, the company that did the original installation and he was able to offer me a solution to both of those problems. They installed a ball valve which gave me an alternate above ground outflow, and a new pump with a PumpSpy system which had a backup pump and provided continuous cellular monitoring of the pump activity. A week later when I contacted Mike at B-Dry to tell him I was getting error messages from PumpSpy and being told to contact a technician, we discovered that the company, PumpSpy, was phasing out the cellular system and moving to Wi-Fi in the next few months because of problems with cellular monitoring. This meant that I would soon need to have a new system installed at an additional cost of 300+ dollars. Naturally, I was not happy with that news. I felt that PumpSpy should have informed B-Dry of that before the original installation. Mike agreed and contacted PumpSpy and they agreed to replace my system with the new WiFi system at no cost to him or myself. When the new system arrived at B-Dry, Mike had his technician Shawn here to install it the next day. It was a complete change out of everything that had been done just a few weeks earlier, but Mike did not charge me for the additional service call. Not every company will go to bat for the customer. But Mike did. He and his staff are very professional, do excellent work and really care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend B-Dry Systems of Southern New York to anyone who has issues with water in their basement.

The Foreman and workers were friendly and kept me informed on the progress throughout the project. They cleaned up after themselves remarkably. So far I am happy with the work and investment I've made in my house. I have yet to see how the basement holds up during a heavy storm, but have greater piece of mind that it will hold up.

Contractors were on time did a great job.

B-Dry does good work and cleans up after themselves as no other contractor has ever done. Staff is very polite and knowledgeable and get 5's in that area. People do need to know tho that sub slab solutions such as B-Dry are not 100%. Pump(s) can burn out, power can fail, pipes in the system can clog with silt/mud. The only 100% solution is to stop the source of the water so just be prepared to do maintenance. With these systems you will have to open them up on average every 8 years although the addition of the "clean outs" (access points along the system) could extend. This is my 3rd BDry system in my 3rd house in over 20 years. As a company I give BDry an A but the sub slab solution I give a B-. Too many variables can impact the efficacy and it's not reliable enough to totally finish the basement and feel secure it will never get any water again.
