About us
Founded in 1912 as Baltimore Elevator Company, Bedco Mobility was one of the first companies in the nation to focus our brand around accessibility. We started out in the 1960s with just residential stairlifts. As the industry grew, we added vertical and inclined wheelchair lifts, wheelchair accessible vans, and other mobility products. Eventually, we circled back to residential elevators. Bedco Mobility has since become one of the largest independent accessibility companies in the Mid-Atlantic. But we are not resting on our past success. We are committed to providing the quality products and expert service that has built our business from the beginning. Well into our third generation of family ownership, we are poised to serve our customers now and in the future.
