We love BGE Home and use them for many projects, plumbing and electrical and other types of services. They are always responsive and come when they say they will be there and every BGE Home employee has been professional and kind and helpful. I really rely on them for projects and love that I can trust them and feel safe with them in my home. I would highly recommend. The prices are probably a bit more expensive than other places, but fairly comparable. And they do offer deals and service plans which are helpful. I think they are worth the cost.

W bought from BGE in 2007 Carrier Infini- because of extended warranty. Very pleased with service under warranty; multiple parts (capacitor, rely, fan, fan motor) had to be replaced (2 thumbs down on Carrier 2007 products). When compressor stopped in Jan 2018 and (after fan and motor broke loose for mooring!), thought Doomsday had arrived. But under a service contract, got fan and motor replaced and compressor repair for now! Technicians have all been super nice, competent, and willing to work in lousy weather (last 1 worked 90 minutes in the dark and rain to replace fan and motor!). From the first emergency at 4 AM in early Jan (fan on 12 yr old heat pump broke from mountings and knocked out) thru multiple, FREE service call under maintenance. The contract in snow & freezing temps, BGE service people persisted and did their damndest to get 12 yr old system working properly with various new parts, tests, etc--all free of charge under a great service contract. When system finally pronounced DOA, BGE sales/Larry Kinsey (my salesman 12 yrs ago) came out, quick off the mark with good price offer on new one, generous financing, and on-time and clear follow thru on installation, checking, demo, etc. MY CO. OF CHOICE FOR 15 years now--they never disappoint! Phone center for service calls great too!

I had a garbage disposal replaced by BGE home. The Disposal they used could have been bought at a home improvement store for $98. There were no other parts used. They labor took less than 1 hour and the total bill was $540. I believe $450 dollars for 1 hours work is quite high.

They were very responsive to my requests. The salesman was just terrific. Incredibly responsive and wanted to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. Work crew were very professional and friendly. They were the least expensive and most responsive- great combination.

Hire BGE Home for all your home service items, you will be pleased. BGE HOME has installed my heating and air conditioner unit, my hot water heater and when I needed them to fix a problem with my air conditioner they were there the same day I called, fixed the problem, did not over charge me and were on their way in no time. Excellent customer service from placing the service call until completion of the job.

Project: New Windows
The windows in my house had cracked and were very drafty. BGE Home replaced my windows and I immediately noticed a difference. There were no more drafts or ghostly sounds when the wind blew and the temperature throughout the house started to even out. The installers were very efficient, thorough, and polite. Thanks!
