We called Chris to come out in November 2025 and give us a quote to take down our very large tree. He was here within a week with a group of guys and the tree was cut down in 2 days and the branches cleared out of our yard in less than a week. The stump still needed to be ground down and that was extra. He came in December 2025 to grind the stump and didn?t finish the stump grinding, removal of wood chips and to spread dirt and grass seed until April 2026. He would tell us that he was coming and then not show up, not tell us he was coming and then just show up, and he would only show up after 6 or 7pm and then stay until 9pm. He gave us the final bill and the stump grinding ended up costing us more than the huge tree did. Everything is still not done and he decided not to return so my husband removed the rest of the debris and ground down the pieces of stump that he missed. All in all, awful experience and will never hire him again.

B & G did an excellent job on trimming two old trees whose dead branches could become very problematic in a winter storm. Price was very good and I will be using their services in the coming Spring.

During a very bad storm, a large tree split & fell on my house. I called many companies to give me an estimate. Since there was damage in all nearby counties, I had trouble getting someone to come out. My insurance company sent someone out to get the tree off my roof & put a tarp over it. But there was a large part of the tree still high off the ground. It was wedged between the branches of another tree. I went to Home Adviser & filled in the info. Several hours later, I got a call from B&G. He told me that he would be out the next day to check it out. About 5 hours later he called me back & said that he could come out that same day due to finishing the current job early. He looked at the tree & said that it was an emergency situation & it had to be removed ASAP. The tree was going to hit the tree next to it & where it went after that was anyone's guess. My house, the neighbor's house or the electric wires could be hit. He said that he would have to rearrange his schedule to cut my tree 1st since it was an emergency situation. He showed up at 8:00 the very next day. Since there was exactly 20 feet between the houses, he had to be extremely careful. He cut off small pieces so as to control where the branches were lowered. Everything went very well & he cleaned up everything perfectly. He even cut some of the other tree that had been damaged when the original tree fell on it at no extra. And to top it off, he was much, much cheaper than the other 3 estimates that I got. I was going to pay my deductible either way, but I needed the estimate for the insurance company. I would highly recommend this company.

Yes the price is low but you get what you pay for! I contracted with them to remove a fallen tree and the shed the tree crushed on my property - this was in January 2019. It is now May 2019 and they still have not removed the base of the shed or the base part of the tree. I have left over 14 voicemails and have not received a return call. At this point I am going to have to pay another company to complete the work. They ask for payment before completion. I WOULD NOT recommend this company but if your tempted by the cheap price DO NOT PAY THEM until the work is complete!!!!!

These guys are busy and might be hard to get them to come over fast enough so, plan ahead, but if they come you can only say: JOB WELL DONE! And done neatly. Dan

Had these guys take down an old oak tree in our backyard. It was right next to our house and they had very little space to maneuver in, but they coordinated everything perfectly. And they did a great job cleaning up. These guys make an awesome team, and they were very professional. Will be hiring them again!

The bid for the work was very fair. They came the same day I hired them and cleaned up the mess when they were finished. I now have a Weeping Willow tree that is no longer overgrown.

We hired B & G to thin, elevate and remove dead limbs from a large oak tree that hangs over our house, power lines and neighbor s property and had them take down another tree growing through power lines. Chris and his crew were excellent and very safety conscientious with their work. They know their work and completed the job for a very fair price, even removing all debris from my yard as well as my neighbor s. I highly recommend B & G.
