Harry is the owner. Nice guy. Good pricing. Hired to paint pantry cabinets in oil and large informal dining room in oil over wood panels. Good intentioned. Crews are not professionally trained. Their skill comes from doing many jobs. Did not remove hardware, painted right over door latches and hinges. Had to replace hinges due to too much paint. Many streaks. The paint was not thinned to reduce brush strokes. Use rollers on smooth surfaces and then do not back brush. Leaving roller marks all over. The worst part was receiving additional charges for extra paint needed and work that was part of the original quote. Would not recommend any interior work.

Powerwashing
Project: power wash house and deck and paint 12 exterior poles supporting the rear portion of the house. First Harry's team showed up on time. Secondly, his team did an excellent job of power washing the house and deck/railings, so they look almost new. The driveway was power washed for no charge after a recent hurricane which was a nice touch from Harry. His team worked hard, diligently, and efficiently. The support poles were sanded and primed, so the oil-based paint adhered correctly. His team cleaned up the worksite properly. Harry assured me that if I found any quality issue, he would address it which he did. Harry is knowledgeable, and I plan to use him for future projects.

Interior Painting or Staining
BH Charter Oak was very responsive and came to my unoccupied Greenwich, CT house within a couple of hours of my making the request to Home Advisor. BH Charter Oak was professional, very knowledgeable and clearly explained to us the extent of the damage to our bedroom ceiling and wall created by rain that entered through a hole in the roof. The price was reasonable and they commenced work the following day after the roof was repaired. They did an excellent job in replacing the fallen bedroom ceiling with new sheet rock and repainting the ceiling and wall so that everything looked brand new and the colors matched. We were very happy and would definitely use BH Charter Oak again.

Hired to do 2 small jobs. First was a ceiling patch. There was joint compound left on light fixtures as well as the top of a door. Paint also not done neatly. Second job was to put down some sealer on a deck. This job also was not done correctly. I will say that part of the issue was caused by a tenant but the overall quality was lacking.

5+ Room Interior Painting or Staining
Harry and his team did an excellent job re-painting the interior of our condo. His team are very professional, made sure the place was spotlessly clean after the job was finished. We moved in 2 days after the painting was completed, and the movers inevitably made a few marks and dings in the wall, and Harry sent his guys the following day to patch those up an no additional cost. He clearly is a bit of a perfectionist which is exactly what you want in this business. Highly recommended, and I will certainly be calling him for our next job!
