Cost break down On average a carpenter is going to cost you $80 to $100 per hour, a crew of two carpenters is going to run about $6000 to $ 8000 per week plus materials. New home construction now days runs minimum about $500 to $700 per square foot and remodels can be more. If your job is going to require a permit with plans, architectural and structural drawing are going to be required. Pricing is pending on the size of the project but on an average drawings ready for permit run 10% to 20% of the overall project. I am not trying to be discouraging but Angi does not tell clients looking for contractors that the contractor is being charged for the leads. $100 to $300 per lead if we get the job or not. Construction is very expensive so please be prepared before contacting me. I am a licensed, bonded and insured general contractor. I would be very happy to talk to about your project.
