Did very professional job on replacing bricks in front of home after removing old crawlspace vents. Gave price on the spot and did work within 2 days. Even went to Jacksonville to find brick that matched. Would definitely recommend. Very polite man and so was his crew.

We are very impressed and pleased with Bennie's work. He arrived on time, diligently worked until the project was completed. He went to great lengths (drove to South Carolina and then Jacksonville) to be sure he found bricks that matched the ones that needed replacing. The repaired areas seamlessly blend with the rest of the brick. All for a very reasonable price.

Bennie James is a true professional. I choose him over another well-qualified brick and masonry expert. He called me to set up an appointment, arrived on time, gave me an estimate on the spot after thoroughly inspecting the work and he offered a very reasonable price to do the work. His task was to fix the sloppy work of the original contractor who built out our front porch with bricks. I was amazed at how well he undid the sloppy mortar work that turned a small beautiful porch in a larger, ugly one. Bennie also cleaned the brick, filled in the mortar (came close to matching it perfectly) where there were gaps and neatly finished the parts of the porch stone floor deck that was unevenly filled with mortar. I am now confident that water will not seep through the gaps and damage the house itself. As an aside, he is confident, friendly, always in good humor and patient (he was training an apprentice of sorts), The job was finished quickly, expertly and during normal work hours (the original contractor didn’t schedule work well and was almost working in the dark to get the job done. I would recommend Bennie James and B&L to anyone needing repair work or a complete larger project. (BTW, he shows up when he makes an appointment, unlike a dozen contractors that we have tried to hire over the last 5 months for various other jobs.
