I contacted Blues Bro back in late 2020 and then we went over some things. In the mean time I contacted other agencies as well trying to see where I get the most value for my money, it was here. I locked in the contract, to the person getting work done please go back and forth and negotiate. I hired them so that I would not have to deal with contractors for my adu.. I was happy on my results and how my project turned out to be. I gave my own rough blueprints to Blues Bros which helped a lot. Project mgn was Sussan and cordinators changed but Renne was very, very helpful. Payments were done in installs of each step the project goes through.. they have an app it tells you when the payment will be done. I bought most of my own stuff, even though they have inventory inhouse. I would recommend to future client, negotiate, read the contract and be upfront with budget and leave a little buffer. Have communication with both contractors and Blues Bros. Be on top of things right away from the first second. Get the number of the contractors and there boss and ask for weekly of daily status of work. If something is off have chat with both Blues and Contractors right away. Everyone has the same end goal, which is to finish the job so stay on top of it.

Excellent job done by Blues Bros. Batel was our project manager and she was very helpful and courteous. Gabriel and Jesus did the majority of the labor and their work is meticulous and they are a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Blues Brothers Construction helped me remodel my bathroom. They did a professional job and their team was a pleasure to work with . Alexandra served as point of contact and general project manager and she was courteous , profesional , knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the process. I always felt like the project was in good hands throughout. The final result was a great -looking bathroom that I love . I had a great experience with BBC , we never had communication issues and questions were always answered in a timely manner . I am very satisfied with the entire project and I will definitely be using them for my future project. I highly recommend them !

Blues Brothers Construction made my kitchen remodel seem like a breeze. I love that they were able to help me from start to finish, it made the whole process much less complicated. 10/10 service!

Mika was our project manager and she helped us navigate the process of designing and brainstorming the kitchen and told us what was in our power to do (the kitchen is a small space). As far as quality is concerned, the contractors that Mika worked in coordination with were friendly (the Farcon crew) and kept things pretty clean throughout. I'd recommend them for a kitchen project for sure. We went from drab 1950s counters and plain wall and linoleum to fabulous quartz countertop and Heath tile and modern hybrid flooring.

They go above and beyond

I hired Onn and Blues Brothers Construction bc he seemed approachable, thorough, and detail-oriented. My husband and I had just bought our first house and it needed electrical, plumbing, and foundation work. we decided to also renovate a bathroom, and planned to convert our garage to an ADU once the first set of work was complete. Unfortunately as soon as we signed a contract Onn went MIA, and all communication was through Renee, the office manager. I rarely was able to talk directly with anyone who actually knew the project or the work being done. It often took a week or longer to get answers to my questions, if they were acknowledged at all. Onn said he would fix my foundation issue, then took 3 months to get me a quote which was 10x what a competitor quoted, and then he finally told me he didn't want to do the work anyway and I should find someone else. I paid him to make up blueprints for the ADU conversion. They were supposed to be finished in 5-6 weeks, but 3 months later I couldn't get answers about progress. I finally told Onn to forget the blueprints and asked for a refund, He verbally agreed on the phone. Several mistakes were made that caused delays, including not properly flashing the plumbing vent pipes on the roof which left holes for water to come in and resulted in a huge mold issue inside the walls. Over the next 4 weeks I was told 4 times that the mold was taken care of, only to find more mold in the walls. I finally hired an outside mold remediation expert who followed actual protocol (sealed the area, brought in a dehumidifier, etc) and took care of everything in 5 days. Much of the finish work was sloppy or steps skipped (the EV charger they installed wasn't plugged into the electrical panel when we tried to use it). Once our project finished, it took another 3 months to settle final payment and paperwork bc Onn kept agreeing to terms then arguing back about them, and tried to get us to 1. waive our warranties, and 2. sign a non-disparagement clause (so we wouldn't be allowed to leave a bad review). Longer review with more detail is on Yelp. Needless to say, we opted not to do the ADU conversion with Blues Brothers and found a different contractor for that project.

Mika Aloni and the Blues Brothers Construction team are amazing! Mika Aloni was the Project Manager for the remodel of my kitchen and bathroom and she did a great job. The rooms look brand new and I'm thrilled with the work. I highly recommend Mika Aloni and Blues Brothers Construction for your remodel projects.

After many years and driven by spending so much time at home due to the pandemic, I decided it was time for a complete remodel of my kitchen. I contacted several potential contractors and had them submit bids. Of the 5 contractors who responded, Mika Aloni was the most diligent and responsive. She was not only the person who came to my house to survey the kitchen and submit the bid, she was also the project manager. I must congratulate her on a job well done! I could not have been more pleased. She always had my back from the beginning through the end no matter what problem we encountered. She always came up with the right solution. I highly recommend her.
