BMPC Concrete

Hired BMPC Concrete to remove an existing driveway and pour a new one. Unfortunately we had a crack within 12 hours and worse - the grade was incorrect which is now causing water intrusion into our garage. I contacted the owner who showed up and tried to give me a discount for the crack and said they were upset about Kelly their lead guy especially when they gave him a $500 bonus for the job. Larry the Owner said he should have used a laser to get the grade correct. This job was performed on a Friday and Kelly told me he was being pressured to have this done in two days when he informed the office he needed three. They did show up yet again and put a small curb near the house to divert the water so it would not pool up to the foundation and cut out and placed an insert where the crack was. I appreciated their effort with this but it still did not stop water intrusion into the garage (which, by the way we never had before they poured the new driveway) They then told me they would come with a machine to put a swale in the driveway to help divert the water from entering the garage. All this did was grind down the driveway leaving a terrible looking valley that took off the top layer of the driveway revealing the aggregate. Not something one would expect when they pay $20,000 for a driveway. The swale still does not work as the water now pools where they started the grinding process and we still have water intrusion into the garage. They couldn't even perform this task correctly. After this last failed attempt to correct their error in grade, BMPC Concrete - Brad, Larry and Kelly have been unresponsive to my calls or texts. I am now forced to obtain a third party estimate to fully repair this problem and file suit against them in small claims court to attempt to at least recover some of my loss. If you look up BMPC Concrete on google reviews you will notice a recent review that stated the same grade problem with water in the garage so I am assuming they still cant get this right. Brad who I did business with was attentive early, as soon as he got his down payment, not so much, He had a work supervisor Kelly oversee a crew and Brad only stopped by once. Kelly had problems 1st the quote went up by $600.00 when they decided they needed to pump it in. They had several conflicts in work and foul language between the crew. They didn't clean up very well after the job and when I pointed out and sent a photo to Brad about a possible concern in the job and the language of one of the employees, We never heard from Brad again.

Sent knowledgeable person to provide estimate and discuss job. Crew arrived early, were very courteous, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Came back the next day and did etching as promised! Quality job all the way!!!

Do not hire him. The entire walkway and driveway has to be ripped up and done again. There is a portion of driveway that is totally unacceptable, The rest has crumbly score cuts and broken off pieces on edges. Attempts at repair made it worse with patches that don't match concrete and ugly brown smears. Arbitration proceeding awarded me all my money back but Mr. Wise has remained unresponsive. broken

The entire crew was great. They removed an old driveway and poured a new driveway and two sidewalks. The crew had rain delays and spent extra time redoing sections that were impacted by the rain. They stayed late and eventually the owner came out and finished the job that night using the headlights from his truck to see. His dedication to the job is obvious and he went above and beyond what was expected. The driveway gets tons of compliments from the neighbors and weâ ve had a few who said they plan to use BMPC for their driveways too. Highly recommended.

Very poor quality work. Cracks in the driveway reappeared 17 days after coating was applied. Now at 3 months after the coating, it is chipping away from my driveway. They refunded me one-half of what I paid them for the job before the chipping occurred. Although the salesman Brad was a very nice guy, I would not recommend this company to anyone due to the poor quality of work.

The concrete looks good. However, the yard is a mess. The cable line was cut and we were both working from home, and we had shown them where the cable line was so it would not happen. They cut an electrical line and never offered to take care of that either. We will have to clean up the rest of our yard before we cut the grass again due to chunks of concrete and metal rods left from the forms. UPDATE: Larry has offered to clean up the yard and has offered to cover expenses. Great Customer Service. Have asked for a quote for other services based on his willingness to correct things.

I am satisfied with the customer service and quality of work and will use this company for any future concrete jobs. BMPC removed an existing slate driveway and installed a new and modern looking driveway in its place. The foreman and his crew also built up the surrounding yard area with black dirt to keep those areas from taking on any excess water during the Florida rainy season. Good work ethics! I am adding to this review due to recent happenings. Though I still love the driveway and work I have developed a 12 inch spider crack on the edge of the driveway (approximately 3 months after the work) and have been unable to get Larry out to look at it. My concern is this chunk of the driveway may eventually break away and come off. Also, there have been some payment problems with some of the subcontractors (but I think this was settled). Still a great job aesthetically speaking, but the customer service and lack of follow up drops the mark in my book.

*****BEWARE************************ Used BMPC Concrete for concrete driveway install. Paid the invoice in full on 11/19/2019 a few days after work was completed. On 12/29/2019 we received a warning notice for a potential lien since BMPC had not paid for the materials they used for the job at our residence. The lien notice was from Hard Rock Materials, Inc. Last month we started noticing cracks in the cement where the concrete meets the street. Called BMPC on 03/04/2020 and also called their sales rep Jason on 03/04/2020 to have this repaired as the concrete was poured less than ninety days from the time the cracking appeared. Called BMPC again on 03/09/2020. Voice mails were left for all three of these calls and they still have not had the courtesy to return our phone call.
