Fences of Georgia, LLC

Gave a $25,300.00+ cashier check to them on June 4, 2021, for a Trek fence. They let me know it would take 8-12 weeks to get the materials. By October 1, I realized I needed to make other plans for the safety of my dogs and requested a refund of my materials deposit. It is now 3 + months later and they still have not made any effort to return my deposit. There are two major suppliers in the USA of the Trek supplies and neither of them shows Fences of Georgia as a client. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!! By the way, a am a 70-year-old widow trying to keep up the work on my house the best I can.

My wife and I just moved into our home back in January and one of the first things we wanted to upgrade was our fence. It took a while but we finally hired Fences of Georgia, LLC to do it. With it finally complete we are so happy! The boards look incredible, they did grading in our yard as well and it has turned out fantastic! I could not be happier with the finished product. There are a few reasons we would not recommend this company though, most of them come down to professionalism. When the project was started we were told it would take 3 days to have our finished fence - start to end ended up taking 8 days. Some of the reasons, we understood (broken auger, skid loader in the shop, dirt supplier change due to lack of material) however, some of the problems we did not. The man who did our fence, Rodger, never showed up on time except for when the boss came, always left for long lunches, and brought over his? baby mama? (his words not mine). She was subcontracting for him but could not use tools safely, I looked out at one point to see her holding a board between her legs and cutting it with a saws-all toward herself, terrifying! Also, he saw we had cigars on our back deck and after a brief conversation about them told me to? give him one of those fat a** cigars. I mean, I am not the most innocent person, but I know that is not something you say to a customer. We came back from a small vacation to the beach to see that he had put the boards of our fence on the wrong side and in the wrong manner than what we wanted; however, this was already 4 days in and I just wanted them to finish the fence so I just told him to continue. Lastly, he never let us know when they were coming and going except for maybe two days, the first day and after I conveyed these concerns to their owner. Other than these things, the management was respectful and kind, I often spoke to Jymme, their accountant, and she was always very helpful. She did say that this was their first time using Rodger again and it is possible they would not use him in the future. Most of my complaints were about him. All in all, I would not recommend this company only because I do not trust their hiring, but I am very happy with my new fence so if you are okay rolling the dice, go for it. In the future, I will vet the companies I use at my home much more carefully because of this experience.

Easy to work with

Steve is a perfectionist. Work is superb. His crew is courteous, polite and clean up after themselves. I have the nicest finest fence in the neighborhood and also have high standards, and am In awe of their perfect craftsmanship, work ethic and professionalism. 100% recommendation.

They had extensive work to do with landscaping in order to install the fence and it was a very nice job done there was very successful completed and the performance of the work Was very thorough

He does good work! I have no problems with him!
