Andy a team are wonderful! Super professional. I had a new EV car and needed a full installation to support charging at my home. Andy took care of everything from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgeable about refunds through local utilities and was able to help me get my costs covered by understanding the rules of the programs. Andy was super communicative and very easy to work with. 100 percent will use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

We hired Borders to replace our homes’ electrical panel. I had also spoken to other companies as part of our planning and Borders was the most professional & had the best communication by far… that’s one of the most important things to me & it should be to you. Once we started the process, Andy kept me apprised of every step, including the process with the City permitting and PG&E. When we were cleared to go, all of the resources with the City as well as PG&E were coordinated and ready to go. On the day of install, Andy and his team were here early, prepared with all materials & supplies and hit the ground running. Andy was great about explaining the steps & components being included in the job. While here, Andy was also able to take a look at a couple of issues in our home. Shortly after, I hired Borders to install a number of GFI outlets. The job was scheduled quickly and completed professionally. I HIGHLY recommend Borders, have told neighbors & will use them again!

Borders Electric's Andy removed and replaced an older bathroom ceiling fan. I had purchased the fan, thinking I would repair it. I came to my senses and reached out. After some back-and-forth, Andy made a bid, showed up, and did the work. Anyone who is good at what they do is busy. I was grateful for Andy's near real-time communications. He hustles, has good tools, is friendly, and is smart. I enjoyed our interaction. The repair is excellent.

I reached out to Andy based on a recommendation from a house inspector who inspected our newly purchased home. We had a laundry list of electrical issues to resolve. I emailed Andy with the electrical topics out ot the inspection report to ask if he would be available to help us out. Andy replied to my email within minutes and followed up with other replies in a very timely manner. One of the things I was impressed with right from the start was Andy responsiveness. His quote was fair and flexible (e.g. if the job is done for less than the quote, he charges less). After scheduling the work to be performed on Day 1 after closing escrow, Andy showed up right on schedule and moved efficiently and independently through each of the tasks. He is super friendly and a pleasure to work with. He took care of things that were also outside of the normal electrical category. We strongly recommend Borders Electric as a great source to get your electrical work done (and at a fair price).

Andy responded quickly and was able to diagnose an issue with our switches. We had a special situation and he was able to get it taken care of on our schedule. Especially like the cleanup job after! Will definitely hire again!
