Bruner impressed us from the beginning and that continued through to the end of the project. He did a comprehensive inspection of our home, even crawling the attic, and explained what he felt we needed. He didn't try to over sell and answered all of our questions. My concern about the brand of HVAC he recommended were met with clear reasons for the choice and an offer to go with another brand if I felt more comfortable with that brand. We went with the original brand he'd proposed, though because of cost we chose a lower seer system. The job took two days, which included replacing all the ducting.. He and his crew were very respectful of our home and of us; we were in the house the entire time. This is the first night with the new system. We're very happy...and thankfully cool again. We're glad we chose Bruner and BRS Mechanical to do the work.

Bruner was very prompt in getting back to me, after I called Home Advisor. He was very informative and extremely fair. My A/C unit now works better than it ever did. He did a thorough job explaining the repair.. and his work was excellent. I will use this company for any other needs I may have...and I would recommend BRS Mechanical to anyone and everyone ..that could use his services. I am extremely impressed with the repair he did on my AC unit.

Excellent customer service, did the job in an efficient, cost saving manner

We spoke with them on Tuesday evening and they had the air conditioner installed the next day. The were courteous and informed us of every step. They even repaired some areas in the attic that they were not contracted to do. I would say they do above and beyond.

Bruner was first and only technician I've called... after discussing system configuration , all technical details and receiving quote within 10 minutes I do didn't need to go for additional appraisal.... Bruner, the owner of BRS Mechanical did a great job on my central A/C install. His quote was the most reasonable of the four estimates that I got for this project, not that cost is the most important aspect of a project, but it is still important . Initially I was somewhat reluctant to go with a small company, but he appeared to really know what he was talking about and his reviews on Home Advisor were excellent. It's also nice to have the owner of the company actually working on the install and overseeing the whole project. He has a personal interest in seeing that everything goes well. During the A/C install he discovered a huge water leak in the crawlspace of my home. I had to pay a plumber to come and fix that leak, but Bruner probably saved me even more money by finding the leak. I understand that some people might be more comfortable hiring a larger company. All of the other estimates that I received were from larger companies. They all told me about the big projects they've done and how they install more of a given brand of A/C unit than anyone else so they could get special discounts etc., that may be true, but I didn't see much discount in their estimates. I guess this is an area where increased volume means increased price, not the usual high volume, low price. The big companies did have nice looking, glossy, colored brochures. One company even showed me a video of the history of the company, which was nice but unnecessary and not worth their price of the install. I plan to have a mini split system installed in my converted garage this winter. I would have done it now, but the added expense of the water leak repair has put that on hold. I plan to use BRS Mechanical for that mini split install, and I plan to use BRS Mechanical for whatever future HVAC needs that I have. I would recommend BRS Mechanical to everyone.

Bruner replaced our thermostat. Not a huge job but he was able to do it on the same day I called. He was on time. Professional and helped with explaining the new features and how to program it. Hardly took any time and very reasonable. I highly recommend BRS Mechanical.

Finally installed AC and am very happy. BRS also installed a new furnace and vents. Hired BRS because not only were they very knowledgeable about HVAC systems, the price for a two stage system was comparable (or less) to what the other companies quoted for a single stage system. They were able to get the system installed promptly, and when I notified Brunner on Sunday evening about a concern, he was here within 45 minutes. Great customer service.
