Unethical Behavior and Overcharging I had an extremely disappointing experience with this garage door motor installation company. The technician initially quoted me $1,400 but offered to reduce it to $700 if I wrote a 5-star review. The motor installed was worth around $150, and the job took less than 10 minutes to complete. What was truly upsetting was that the technician demanded I write the review immediately, refusing to let me leave to pick up my kids, who were waiting outside their school in 19°C weather. He even threatened to charge me an additional $50 if I didnâ t write the review on the spot. Under pressure, I struggled to log into my account, and once I did, he took my phone and gave his company a 5-star rating himself. Afterward, I checked with three other companies and found out I was charged an extra $300 -$490 compared to the standard market rate for the same job. This companyâ s practices are unethical, manipulative, and unprofessional. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
