I paid initially and at first the job was good but then they did not finish the job and just ran with my money and are not replying back.

Once I got them out for a price quote, we set a time for the work to be done. They arrived close to the time and completed the work in a reasonable fashion and time frame. Will clearly be interested in working with them again.

Our experience was less than desirable. We purchased a home to accommodate my bad back after we hired them to remodel kitchen. When the scope of work changed from remodeling (removing, stripping, painting, reinstalling, extending, and modifying to accommodate new counters) to painting kitchen cabinets only, they basically charged the same price. They had already collected half the payment up front and would not provide the price of painting until the painting was completed and after we contacted customer service. A few years ago we paid $600 to have our cabinets painted. They billed us over $6,000. In addition, we had issues with their ability to come on time or even show up. My wife had to assist so that we could have the project finished in time to photograph and list. This was one of the worse experiences that we have ever had with a contractor. Maybe if life didn?t happen and there were no changes needed, the cost issue would not have been a problem. However, getting them to come work on the project was a significant problem. I do not like writing bad reviews. My wife and I felt compelled to share our experience. We both have worked in helping professions for years and are advocates for people who get taken advantage of by others. I never thought a fellow Veteran would inflate prices like this. We had already prepaid over $6,000 for the floor and cabinet remodel and felt compelled to stick with them. They actually charged more for painting than the remodel. Then wrote a discount on the bill because my wife assisted. I hope others have a better experience than we had with this contractor.

"I am completely sorry for your bad experience with us. We never like to leave a customer feeling like they have been taken advantage of. We have been there ourselves and it's one of the reasons we started this company. Ben, I both use the program offered by Angie to bid on our jobs. I wish I could say that you only owe $600 but, unfortunately, current events have made the price of material high. Ben takes pride in being a veteran-owned company and is proud to serve other veterans. He would never price gouge anyone. I am not sure where the miscommunication happened. I thought the day we came over to discuss the move and what to do about the already started kitchen I recall saying that there would not be much of a change in the price due to the work already done. You had said that you wanted to keep the work for the flooring just move it to the new home. The price on that was not going to change and if it did it would only be whatever difference was in the transitions. I am sorry if this misunderstanding. I understand your frustration with the no-show and late times. And I am sorry for that as well but most of my work was off-site. And just like life does unforeseen weather and changes to the project midstream caused delays. These events made it hard to meet the short and unexpected move-out date. We truly did try to meet that deadline. I know you are unhappy with the price of the job but the material is height and that means we have to charge more for it as well. I have done some price change on the invoice, I wish I could do more."

Wanted to replace french doors with a slider. Showed BT Contracting the door I wanted from Lowes on a Friday afternoon and they removed the old door and installed the slider the following day. Excellent work at a fair price!
