Charles replaced our a/c and heating (and added humidifier to our heating system). The work was excellent, it has been over a year and we have had zero issues, everything works like a dream! We have also hired Charles for other projects. He has replaced ceiling fans, a toilet, light fixtures, hard wired smoke detectors, etc. Charles is awesome! We are incredibly happy with the entire experience and the results!! Thanks, Charles!

Charles accepted the job to fix the A/C in my home. He came out diagnosed the problem took the service fee and left. He didnā€™t give me a receipt for the service fee. I donā€™t use checks and he was not unable to take debit or credit so I had to go to the bank 10 miles away to get him cash. Then after he left he canceled the job that I had already waited a week for someone to accept in 90 degree weather. He said it was too far to travel to take the job. He knew how far away the job was when he booked it. He canā€™t be depended on to complete a job once heā€™s accepted it. I will never give my business to someone so undependable and shady again.

Hi Kallie, I'm very sorry you had a negative experience. I would like to add some context that will hopefully make you feel better about what happened. As you know, we accepted this assignment through a home warranty company. We had accepted a group of assignments that were well outside of our service area in order to help resolve several open work orders in that area for that warranty company. We never know if the issue is going to be able to be resolved on our initial visit or if it's going to require additional parts and labor to complete the repair. We submitted a diagnosis for the repairs to the warranty company. Rather than approving the entire repair, the warranty company contacted us and wanted us to perform an alternative diagnosis for an extremely low rate. Their alternative approach to the repair would also likely result in multiple trips to diagnose and repair the unit. That is why we turned the job down, because the way they wanted to approach it would not allow us to make any profits. The shortest route from our location to yours is 94.4 miles. Making multiple trips for diagnosis and repair just wasn't feasible. I understand this doesn't alleviate the frustration on your part for having to wait for another, more local service provider to be reassigned and I'm sorry for that. I wish it would have been something we could have taken care of for you on-site that day. In regards to the service call fee, thank you for being willing to go to the bank to get cash. That was very kind of you. We just got our card reader set up to accept credit cards today. We recently started up our business so we are still working on getting everything established. I will be glad to send you a receipt for the $75 service call fee because you did pay it. Because the work order had to be reassigned to another service provider, the warranty company placed a $75 credit on our account that will be deducted from future payouts, so we actually have a net earning of $0 for this assignment. Additionally, you should not be asked to pay another service call fee to the future service provider. I do hope this explanation softens your opinion of us as we value our customers opinions very much and regret that you felt us to be less than honorable.

Charles has maintained an older HVAC unit for me for the last 13 years. Last spring as the first hot days hit, the AC went out. I called Charles that night and asked him to see if he could work in a service call to asess the AC unit. He arrived the next day and did some initial tests and after a thorough check he said the compressor had failed. So I asked about getting another compressor compatible with my old unit. He then explained that was not a good option due the overall age and condition of the whole unit. He said it would be a good time to replace the whole system. We also found some cracks in the heater manifold. After Charles showed me the issues it just made sense to replace the whole unit. Charles got ahold of his office and they put together an excellent bid for the whole install and parts. After a little bit of research I realized that his quote was in perfect line with my research. We agreed on the quote and he had the parts drop shipped from the supplier and they arrived within 4 days. He started install the next morning. As always Charles was very professional and prepped the work area and took great care of our home while performing the work. Charles cuts no corners and does his tasks the right way. He even went above and beyond and insulated some of the pipes, and used a putty on the unit joints to seal them. All things to improve efficiency. We were so very happy and excited to have the new HAVC unit! Charles is a fine skilled tradesman! I would recommend him highly!
