In May 2024, I hired Dave The Ugly Plumber Morton to replace a corroded and leaking hot water tank in my home. During the initial visit, he stated that no permit was necessary beforehand, as the job was deemed an emergency repair. He assured me that the work would be done first, and the permit could be filed afterward. On the day of installation, he took precautions to protect the walls on the stairs from his dolly but left scratches and marks at higher levels when removing the old tank. Although the installation was completed in a day, the final inspection process stretched over six months (from May to October), primarily due to repeated permit issues, inspection failures, and inconsistent communication. Ultimately, the final inspection passed on October 2, 2024, following the fourth attempt. While Mr. Morton seems personable, I found that his handling of this job did not reflect his pricing or the expectations for professional plumbing services. I would not hire him again.

Came by quickly, did good work and even was willing to also do a couple other items we needed done anyway. Price was reasonable for 3-4 hours work.

I actually called a plumber prior to reaching out to Home Advisory. That company came in and told me that I had $1600 in repairs needed! Dave came in and began working right away without even discussing a price He also took care of ALL the issues at a fraction of the cost the other company wanted to charge me at a substantial saving!!!! Dave was personable and very knowledgeable as to what needed to be done. He knows his trade and worth every cent! I will absolutely be calling on him again should the need arise for all my plumbing needs!!!

Dave is an honest, experienced plumber. Kitchen sink had a slow drip that I wanted him to fix. He told me it's an easy fix and I can do it myself to save money just using CLR to dissolve the water calcium, which I did and he was right. He installed a new faucet in our bathroom and did a nice job. Dave gave me an estimate that I thought was fair for the work involved. Communication was good. I have his business card set aside for future plumbing needs. I will use him again.

Dave came on a rainy day and handle my emergency. I would use this company again with TV out any hesitation. Long live I fly plumber

great pro to work with

I had a leak in my main sewer line that would not repair with epoxy, so a section of the pipe needed to be replaced. Now I have a leak in the new pipe at one of the connections. I have called Dave twice and texted him but he is not getting back to me. I contacted HomeAdvisor to see if they could help and they said I would have to write a review before they could do anything.

Very nice guy but much, much too expensive

Appt.was 9am he arrived 4 45pm and couldn't do job. he came back next day to start and finish. Then he did a good job.

Dave was amazing! He worked with our schedule and was extremely pleasant. I was told I would need a new tankless water heater by another plumber. I had a hard time believing that was the case considering my water heater is less than 3 years old. After explaining the issue with the tankless water heater to Dave he assured me that a new water heater was not needed. Dave was knowledgeable and able to fix the unit within minutes. Thank you Dave!!!
