"It's very unfortunate that you were dissatisfied with our services. To point out, we are always open to feedback, good or bad, because no one is perfect and it's the only way to get better. With that being said, we will have to express our response. The project conducted and completed for you, as in the signed proposal agreement, was the felling and removal of two (2) dead ash trees (for an exceedingly good price). To hit on your points: communication did break down when there was no communication from you guys to our agency that there was dissatisfaction. Prior to this there was great communication as to when services would be completed, etc. After job completion, on August 2nd there was an email communication from Scott that your job was completed. The response from that was thank you and you would pay your balance ASAP. It was not until August 8, that an email was sent saying you were not happy with the condition of your yard and the brush pile you asked, at the time of your tree service, for moving or chipping. In this email you also expressed you already took the measures to fix the concerns with your lawn and would send in your payment but were writing to tell us how you felt. Response was then sent to you indicating we were unaware of your dissatisfaction, unaware that an employee of ours (who was no longer with our company) made promises to you for other items, we were aware of yard damage and did lay a large bag of grass seed and two (2) bales of hay for your yard, and the brush pile was already on the premises that you requested the cheapest option for you (move the pile or chip it) and we moved the pile for you at no additional charge. It was expressed to you that we would have chipped your brush pile for you at an additional expense but you wanted to do the cheapest thing for you thus we moved it. Everything that was in writing and agreed upon for your services was completed and you have still failed to submit your final payment for services. Again, it's unfortunate you were dissatisfied but we were unable to even have the opportunity to discuss or attempt to rectify any of your concerns. As was said in the email sent to you, it would be recommended that, in the future, when you have services completed and are not satisfied you should express those concerns in an effort to be discussed and/or remedied."
