We were extremely pleased with our tree removal by the Badger Tree Service crew - 3 large trees and a few branches hanging over our shed. Communication was clear and constant from the first phone call until the job was done. The azaleas surrounding one of the trees were left unscathed and our yard was spotless after. During removal, one of the branches punctured a piece of siding on the shed - things happen - but the mark of a business is how they handle these occurrences. The crew had the forethought to tape over the hole with rain forecast in the coming days. Geoff contacted us to let us know what had happened and that he had already ordered a replacement panel. The new panel was delivered and installed within 3-4 days at no inconvenience to us. Would definitely recommend Badger Tree Service!

Badger did a great job. They were patient with what we asked them to do (and changed several times). Also, made a very convenient and reasonable pay schedule.

In early November 2025, Badger Tree Service removed four trees near our driveway and also removed large limbs that dangerously overhung the driveway. The three-man crew did an outstanding job. Geoff Badger, the company owner, visited while the work was in progress and followed up when it was finished. I will certainly contact Mr. Badger for tree service work in the future.

His crew of Stephen and two others removed a fifty foot, 26-year-old cypress tree that was planted too closed to my home. The crew showed up at the time we agreed on. Work was started promptly. The crew leader requested to a brief on what the job involved. One very large sweetgum and a large pine tree with some rot were brought down. These trees were a threat to my wellhouse. The base of the trees was cleared with a forest mulcher. Some pecan trees I wanted to save were left unharmed. Good job. Will contact Badger Tree Service when I need help in the future.

I called Badger Tree Service on Saturday before they closed, and I spoke with Geoff who came out that same day. I had an urgent project that required two trees to be trimmed to the base of the tree trunk, and by Monday (Memorial Day) his team of professionals were on my property. Within 3 hours they had completed the task and cleaned up everything beyond my expectations. The cost of their service was well worth the price, and as a retired Marine that once performed this difficult task, I would highly recommend these professionals!

Was recommended this company and so glad we decided to use them. We were extremely satisfied with the initial visit with Geoff, his explanation of what all our options were, ti fitting us in a tight schedule so we could continue with a scheduled delivery of a custom ordered shed. The crew was on time, professional and were so wonderful to interact with as they worked in our yard for 3 days. Will be using their services again soon but to replant trees that are hardier to the storms and weather we get in New Bern!

Very professional and courteous crew. Having a certified arborist definitely a plus. I needed to trim some trees and have one I knew was damaged removed. Geoff noticed a tree that looked perfectly fine to me, and recommended it be cut down. While I was hesitant at first, I agreed to remove it. As the tree was being cut, the damage to the inside of the tree was evident. With an active hurricane season expected, so glad I listened to him. The crew was amazing, taking every precaution not to damage the yard or the roof, as the trees removed were extremely close to the house. All branches were shredded, logs removed and the yard was raked. Would highly recommend.

It seemed expensive at first. Proved competitive vs other quotes. They were very efficient removing 11 very tall trees avoiding any damage to property mine or neighbors. Very careful dismantling trees. Were here for 4 days, cleaned up daily with minimal damage to lawn. Excellent crew.

I have a 50â Water Oak in front of my house that I do not believe had ever had any trimming and thinning in the past. From Geoff performing the estimate and Stephen and the crew cutting, shaping and thinning my tree I could not be happier, They were efficient and friendly, checking in with me several times to see if I had any input, clean up of the property and safety for community residents was suburb. Badger will be my go to tree service for any future needs.

During a storm a large cedar tree fell on my home. I reached out to several companies and ended up using these guys, Geoff was very informative and knowledgeable about working with our home insurance to ensure the large tree was removed safely and without additional damages to my home. He worked with the insurance company to provide all the details they needed including drone footage before and after removal. He supported me after in my pursuit of getting documentation and information for the damages to the roof of my home as well as provided me with a contact for another vendor to take care of my roof. I would strongly recommend this company if you are seeking tree removal services and especially recommend if there is an insurance claim involved. He is very familiar with working with insurance to ensure all the information is available for them and it made my life so much easier. The crew was amazing as well.

There is no substitute for expertise, experience and professionalism. This company had all 3. We were extremely pleased with the tree removal, tree planting and cleanup. We were impressed as well as our neighbors. We will employ them again. We highly recommend the company.

Badger Tree Svc did an excellent job cutting and removing several trees. They arrived on time as scheduled, crew was professional and courteous, and they left our property cleaner than it was when they started. Geoff was great to work with through the whole process. Highly recommend them!
