I needed siding repair and hired Badger last year to take care of it. They told me what they thought was needed and a fair price to replace the siding. I asked for more work and we agreed to a new price. The work was done and I can't tell where the original siding stopped and the new pieces installed. Months have gone by, including some nasty weather and the work still looks great.

As soon as the job is done, there's a leak, they couldn't figure it out where the leak is, came out start patching the area, it was done so unprofessional, we still have leakage after it installed 5 years ago. I would not recommend them.

Easy process. After receiving two other estimates based on thier cost vs the others and thier ability to obtain the specific roof shingles I wanted. They also worked with me in installing a new vent im prep for having a new bathroom exhaust fan installed. Clean up was good, few pieces of material and nails left. Only negative experience was the short notice when the work would start. After about 2 -3 weeks I recieved a call the night before they were set to arrive. Not that big of a deal since they could complete the work without me being there, but for most people a little more notice would be welcomed. Overall I'd recommend them.

I rated their work five stars due to their quick response on their quote, work-order, customer service, dealing with my lender and my repair consultant. It was not easy, lots of documents were needed to be provided to the lender, however they never complained and were always pleasant. They were quick. Excellent customer service. I contacted them and they scheduled a meeting and provided me with a quote within a week. The contractor was professional, on time, kept contact at all times and available for questions. I am in process of purchasing a house, however it is a renovation loan. It was very difficult getting a contractor to take the job. I had a contractor but canceled on me due to documents requested by the lender. I had tried about 8 different contractors and no one would even try to come and see the job because it was not my house as yet. Badger Contractor came to my rescue. I needed the quote, work order and documents provided within three weeks before closing and they worked on it for me. Thanks to them I am about to close this week. They had also given me the discount from HomeAdvisor, which i had paid for the membership. I am very happy with the company providing me with the discount as other companies told me no when asked. I have not yet started the job at house but Badger Contractor is already taking measurements and getting ready. The lender needed additional information two days before closing and Barry quickly provided the information quickly and I am still closing on time. I am excited I could not wait to put out a recommendation on the company after the job is done but i will put out another review once the job is completed. Thank you Badger Contractor Inc.

Great Company! I would highly recommend them. 1. Barry was friendly and professional. He took the time to explain the process to me and all of the technical pieces. He also assisted me with comparing the offers made by another competitor with his, and in the end, was willing to beat their price, and offer better quality products. 2. Victor was the project manager and he was awesome. He was friendly, professional and honest. He answered all of my questions. Victor showed up on the site several times to check on progress. When I saw a couple of areas that needed addressing, he climbed up on the ladder and took care of it. It was clear that my satisfaction was important to him. 3. Great price, and quality products. 4. For the most part, they cleaned the site well. However, after they left, I found a few small pieces of debris. Perhaps having someone to walk the property to look for those smaller pieces would be helpful. I have a small puppy and didn't want him to end up ingesting one of those small pieces. Nevertheless, they did a pretty good job with clean up. Great company!

I had a new roof installed because of leaking in the middle bedroom. Since the new roof was installed, have not had any leaking which I'm very happy about. The work crew was very polite and the cleanup was thorough. No damage to the lawn or shrubbery. When I had questions, the company returned my calls promptly. My new roof really looks great and I'm glad I chose Badger Contracting.

The salesman was friendly and polite. The connection between the sale and the install seemed lacking. It was never clear what day they would arrive. I understand it is dependent on weather conditions and other installs, but communication from them was minimal. I happened to be home when the delivery came (and they wanted me to sign a release). I was told I wouldn't need to be home? The materials sat in our carport (and on our roof) for several days before the actual install. This may be typical with getting a new roof, but I was not made aware of that. The installers did come when we were not home, but only got partially done. A large trailer sat in our driveway for several days...keeping us from parking on bad weather days. The job was ultimately finished on a Sunday when we were out of town. Arriving home we could see the trailer had moved to the street, but the cleanup was not done. When I was emailed for final payment, I pointed out that there was still debris around our home. These are the reasons I gave customer service a "3". This was an architectural roof installation and the quality seems excellent so far. I found these installers through a christian radio advertisement. No other complaints or comments.

Make sure you get at least 6 different contractors estimates and ask a lot of questions. The main thing is if the contractors has it own roofing crews or if they will subcontractor your job to who ever available.

Had great experience working with Badger Contractor. They installed my shingle roof at the most convenient time when my insurance company was almost dropping me. My house now looks great with the new roof. Their customer service was great and kept me updated on the work schedule. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to other customers.

We hired Badger Contracting to remove/replace our roof. The new roof has been leaking since the first winter and the owner, Barry Flaks refuses to fix it. The contract included 3 roof penetrations based on a sketch I provided. The penetrations were located incorrectly. They cut new penetrations in the correct location, but didnâ t close off the 3 incorrect penetrations. They â patchedâ the 3 holes with roofing material; if someone steps on they will fall thru. I inspected the roof, then informed Mr. Flaks that there were major issues. I contacted the manufacturer who informed me that based on photos I provided, the roof was not installed according to their installation requirements and that there was no warrantee. The contract states that there is a manufacturerâ s warranty; but there is no manufacturerâ s warranty. Some of the problems include: - Holes in the roof structure thru the decking and substrate. No decking or substrate. -Exposed plywood on the edges front and back. Flashing does not overhang the plywood. -The edge detail was not installed per the manufacturerâ s instruction. There is no blocking. -The corners were not done correctly and they used an excessive amount of â tapeâ instead of heat welded corners. The manufacture's rep. who looked at the roof in person described the corners as â overworked and sloppy parapet details on inside and outside cornersâ . He also said â Unless significant water has penetrated under the membrane, perhaps you could nurse this along for a few years and adhere a TPO fleece back to in 3-5 yearsâ . Note that since the Firestone Rep made that statment, water has penetrated under the membrane constantly since the first winter. The decking and roof joists are saturated when it rains. This is important based on his statement. -The gutter was not correctly re-attached. Rain bypasses the gutter and is cascading down the exterior wall likely damaging the wall. -The insulation substrate per the contract was to be 3-inch. When measured at the six penetrations, it is 2-inch thick. -And the photos speak louder than words. Other issues included: -The workers helped themselves to the refrigerator without asking, and left bottles all over the house. -The house inside and out was a complete mess after the second day and they had to come back to clean. It was still a mess after. -The neighborhood kids said the workers were urinating in bottles and throwing them off the roof. I expressed my concerns immediately and repeatedly (everything is in writing) and here are some of Mr. Flaks quotes: â OK how about I just start over? Allow me the opportunity with no lawyers or anything to do it over.â â I am happy to redo the roof and correct any way you see fit. I am a man of my word and will do what it take to correct including starting over. I would like the opportunity to fix my mistakes please.â These are direct quotes of Mr. Flaks from his emails. Is he a man of his word? So what has he done to correct his mistakes? In fact he has refused to fix the roof, which would require being torn off and starting over. Iâ ve sent him dozens of photos of the leaking roof during rains. I even asked him to come see the leaking while it was raining. What has he done? Mr. Flaks has hired lawyers, filed a judgment against me, and has hired a collection attorney to collect on the judgment. Meanwhile my new roof continues to leak, itâ s cost me time off work, time dealing with him and his lawyers and constantly dealing with water in the house. Itâ s been a huge frustrating mess. So if and when I pay the judgment that his collection lawyer is forcing me to do, I will need to hire another roofer to remove the new roof he installed and pay to have another new roof installed correctly by a different contractor. Two years wasted and counting and saga working with Mr. Flaks continues..

Badger, great company to work with...had problem with gutters reinstalled after roofing work was completed. They returned fixed the gutter problem and added new material at no additional cost!
