Reviews
Write a ReviewFrank and his team did an excellent job finishing our basement. Great communication throughout the process and his team was professional and friendly. They really paid attention to detail and did a great job.
Frank was great to work with, very responsive and organized. We had a dozen companies come over, half didnâ t even get back with an estimate and out of the ones that did they had the best pricing. Will work with them in the future and recommend them to anyone!
Superb workmanship and great communication! We're happy to recommend them!
Bailey Construction did a fantastic job finishing our basement. They helped with everything from the design to the implementation and were professional throughout the entire process. We highly recommend working with them!
Beware- they use inexperienced workers which caused work to be redone and subsequent work to be delayed.
Our many 5 star reviews below attest to the fact that this lady has a personal problem unrelated to our company. I have been a Pro with Service magic / Home Ad visor for over 10 years. In that time we have received only 4 bad reviews, while receiving 6x's this amount favorable. I believe anyone with common sense can figure out that the 4 bad reviews had to come from feelings not related to our work! This customer chose to hire our company because she believed we could do a good job based on our history and my professionalism in providing detailed documentation and planning, along with competitive pricing. The problem started when she had her Uncle (a retired know-it-all) come in and do the electrical and HVAC work, taking this portion out of our contract. The Uncle took several months to do this work because he was doing it "in his spare time" while being "retired"! When she asked us to return I had to tell her that we could not because the work he did was not up to code. Since we were even on money at that point I had no other choice than to cancel the remainder of our contract. She became irate and belligerent with me which led her to leave this lie of a review. I wish her only well in completing her project with her Uncle. Also to be noted this event took place over a year ago.
Every was done to perfection. Frank and his team were great.
Do not hire this company. Frank (the owner) is the most unprofessional carpenter I ever met. I should have been scared away by some of the other reviews but I hired him anyway. You will end up with a poor job and an owner who gets upset if you question anything. Frank will probably dispute this review like the others but pictures don't lie. Please call me or email me and i'll provide you with pictures. Stay far away from this guy.
Note to potential future clients: Please disregard this review when assessing our company for your project. This man is a bitter person that was impossible to please. He insisted on supplying materials to be used that turned out to be of poor quality then wanted to blame us for a poor install, (bathroom tile that was warped and bought at HOBO). There were daily arguments between him and his wife over what they wanted and we wound up changing installed work because they couldn't agree together on what they wanted, after he approved what was installed. When he was charged for the additional work he refused to pay for the changes. We attempted to go out of our way to make them happy but I think the real problem here is their marital relationship. To be clear, we did not remodel their basement but came in after it was near complete to finish the trim work and install tile. The previous contractor walked off the job ahead of us, and now I understand why. We also built a custom bar, provided detailed plans that were approved. After completion the wife didn't like what he approved and demanded that we tear it apart and start over, which we did and didn't get paid for.
Frank and his team replaced the old timber/wooden basement structural supports and beams with steel. This was not an easy project and was very involved including building temporary supports while taking out the old and putting in the new. I found very few companies willing to take on this project. They did a great job from start to finish and cleaned up the entire area when they finished. I would definitely hire them again in the future for other projects.
Everything is going smoothly and the workers have been great.
All work was done within family. Some were unexperienced and it showed. Subcontractors were a problem, especially plumbing and electrical. The only good thing (and he was very good) was the carpenter/head-on-site-contractor brother. He saved our house and actually helped make it the home it did eventually become. Cheers to him.
Not sure who this customer can be because we haven't done any new work in over a year for Home Asdvisor!
