Run away! Do NOT give any money to Adam Bailey. He takes your money and disappears. We're a retired couple and lost over $8,200 to this thief.

Adam agreed to remove and replace/expand my patio space. I ended up giving him the full amount so he could "get supplies and material" for the job. This was back in the summer of 2022. To date, no work has been completed. Took him to small claims court and won, he never even showed up. Have not received anything back from him. This man is a fraud, a crook and takes advantage of hard working people and then keeps promising and never following through. Do not hire Adam Bailey or Bailey Concrete and Masonry for ANYTHING.

I gave the owner half down, and he would not respond to start the work that I have yet to receive money back or the job that do not do it with this company. Adam Bailey is a fraud.

Let this serve as clear warning to not give any money to Baileyâ s Concrete & Masonry LLC and its owner, Adam Bailey, both of Hill City, Minnesota in Aitkin County. I signed a contract with Mr. Bailey over six months ago to do some concrete work at my house. At his request to â cover expensesâ I ended up giving him nearly 80% of the total contract price upfront. He took the money and kept promising to start the work, but he never did anything at all. It was one excuse after another as to why he couldnâ t show up. In one instance when he apparently couldnâ t come up with anything else, he simply said â he forgot.â I took him to small claims court where in the presence of the Judge and my lawyer, he verbally agreed to repay the money in monthly installments with interest. He promised to sign a promissory note and to make his first payment, but he reneged on the court-documented settlement agreement and has yet to repay any of the money. My only consolation is that he didnâ t touch my property because he probably would have done partial and/or shoddy work. He comes across as an honest fellow, but he is not. He is a thief, and my next step is to pursue criminal charges against him and his company.

He kept asking for money and delaying concrete sidewalk and driveway. Sets up appointments and always has an excuse. Now not responding to calls or texts. Iâ ve paid way too much for this treatment.

Extremely unresponsive and unreliable. Does not show up whenever he says he is going to show up and he ghosts you.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We paid our deposit and weeks and months went by without Adam showing up. He would tell us he'd be there at 7, that time would come and go and then her would say 9, then 10, all day...this went on for days and weeks. Finally came to do the project. Garbage left over the lawn. Uneven concrete, concrete splashed on the house siding and the wood frame was never removed (we tried to remove some ourselves but other pieces have been stuck in there for weeks). He came to "patch some spots, which were a different color concreate and still uneven so rainwater pools on the patio now. We have been trying to get in touch with him to fix it and has gone unfixed after he took all our money. Now we are out the money with a patio that is uneven and unfinished. Very disappointed. Friendly guy but responsiveness and work was horrible.

Hired Adam Bailey to remove and replace cement. He came out and gave me a bid on 3/29/23 gave him a check for half down. He w said he would be out on May 22/23 to remove and replace cement never showed up call me a week later and said he was running a couple of days behind would be out the following week never showed up called 2 weeks later and said he needed another $800 before he could show up told him no he was not getting any more money from me until he does the job. Said he could do the job on 6/16/23 never showed up. I keep calling him and asking him when hes going to show up and he said hes not sure then he asked if I want my money back and I said yes if you are not going to complete the work.Been trying to get my money back and he keeps giving me the run around why he cant meet me.Told me 3 times last week that he would meet me to give me the refund and he never shows up .this is turning into one big scam. Just want my money back

Adam is a nice guy, but that is as far as I will go. I paid him 1/2 the beginning of April, he said due to weather, he could start in 2 weeks and it would take 3 days. He called me with an hour asking me to give him cash because he didn't have a business checking account yet. First red flag. Should have just asked for the check back. Anyway, after it stopped raining he came in with a bobcat and removed the dirt and pavers. He broke the air vent for out dryer and bought a new one for that. Then it sat like that for weeks. He kept asking for the 2nd half of the money and I said when it gets done, I will pay you. Second red flag. I'm not paying and having you run with my money and not finish the job. Two months go by and there is always an excuse, my guy can't come and help me, the concrete company called and cancelled on him three times etc. It was always something. Finally they came and poured it. But, they left a mess. They got concrete mix on our America flag, the siding and the garage door. I asked him to come back and clean it and he did, but he only did the front of the house, not the back end. He left his cigarettes and box in the yard, even after me asking him to not do that. He left trash and other garbage in the back, when he said he would come back and make a small ramp for the back gate. So, if you want it to take forever, him ask for the money before the work is done and make a mess, hire Adam. It was a small project, it shouldn't have taken two months. But, you get what you pay for.

Adam Bailey is knowledgeable, dependable and professional. He provided an accurate estimate and time frame and he completed the project on time. We are very pleased with the new sidewalk and wouldnâ t hesitate to recommend him. We plan on using Bailey concrete again for future projects.
