We found a speck home being built by Baker Builders. We went under contract just in time to pick out all of the finishes. We worked primarily with Travis, who was great to work with. He communicated well on any changes, delays, or issues. At the time we were building there were several supply chain issues, so we had to make some changes along the way. Travis always provided an alternative or solution anytime we needed to make a change. The house turned out beautiful! We are very happy with our custom home.

I worked with Baker Builders on finishing my basement (around 900 sqft, with a full bathroom and a wet bar area). I started the project in late 2019, just before the pandemic. They took the measurements and proposed the layout. Due to the pandemic the project was put on hold. I was very pleasantly surprised that when I resumed the project in early 2021 we didn't have to start from the scratch - we could jump directly to the execution. The basement has been finished according to the plan, and I could not be happier with the outcome. Every detail has been taken care of, and I have no doubts as to the quality of the work performed. Each crew working on the project was extremely accommodating about any smaller and bigger requests that I had during the execution. Travis, who was the project manager, deserves a separate mention. Thanks to him the project went so smoothly. I really appreciated the initial schedule provided by him, and that we actually followed it to a large extent. There was no unreasonable delays, and generally things happened when they were supposed to. I was really afraid the project would drag for much longer, based on previous experiences with other companies, but Travis just made it happen! He was on top of things all the time. He accommodated each of my requests, his responsiveness was truly amazing, and I really have never worked with anyone like this on any other project. In general, Baker Builders did an outstanding job with this basement project. Every aspect of it - the price, timeliness, responsiveness, no hidden cost, no unexpected delays, even accommodating COVID precautions - made this is a very pleasant and smooth experience. This is a very solid 5 stars, and with no hesitation I would recommend Baker Builders to any of my friends (which I already did), or use them for any project in the future.

Baker finished two rooms in my basement. I received several bids from different contractors and they were middle of the road. They provided me with a project plan and a supervisor (Travis Lefort). They met every key date in their project plan and contacted me on a daily basis to ensure everything they did was to my satisfaction. The contractors they employed to complete my project were all outstanding trades. The quality of their work was excellent and professional. I have experience in dealing with contractors on my past projects and not one have come close to the outstanding communication and hands on this company provides. Travis Lefort is an outstanding individual who managed this project from start to finish. His communication, followup, quality were nothing short of excellent. The project is almost finished and everything is looking great. Travis and Jay are great at communicating and giving me updates. I opted for a partial remodel of my basement, but will definitely hire them again to finish it completely.

From design to finish Baker Builders had great communication and the work was completed timely and high quality. We are very happy with the results and the cost per sq ft was much less than the added value.

My basement is almost finished and the project has gone really well. It has been a great combination of letting me pick items out and then their excellent installation of everything just the way a professional would do it. We are really happy with the result and our PM Travis has been really communicative and great to work with.

This was the first project of this scope that I have been a part of and they were happy to walk me through every step. Fast and responsive and the results are excellent, I would be happy to work with them again!

Over the entire 8-week project we really on had one communication related hiccup. The owner of the company personally got involved and helped ensure complete satisfaction - you can tell he cares. Baker Builders' workers were incredibly courteous and professional.

Very professional company with great people. Everyone took a keen interest in what we wanted. I'm probably more hands-on than most customers(sticking my nose into things), and the Baker staff were always accommodating and soon requested my input on a day-to-day basis to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted. They self-performed most of the work with high quality which allowed for continuity of the their staff on site - something I value.The few specialty sub contractors they brought in were top notch and clearly shared the same values and engaged with us in the same way as the Baker team to ensure everything turned out as well, or better, as we wanted.Minor modifications to the "standard way of doing things" were always met with great willingness and without resistance. I had lower bids but immediately felt most comfortable with the Baker staff and am very glad we were able to get them to do our basement remodel. As others have commented, they also are extremely conscientious about not affecting home life, insisting on always accessing the work area and bringing in materials through the basement egress window (it's deep too), something I would not have expected. We had no clean-up to do at all on the main floor. I can strongly recommend Baker Builders to anyone and have done so to many close people I respect without hesitation.
