Mr. Baker is very personable and seemingly anxious to do good work for the client. He took longer to complete the project than we were originally expecting and the refinished coffee table looked OK when done. Not superb. We were not told, until I asked, that the polyurethane finish had not dried completely, so we inadvertently scratched the surface in a couple of places. Mr. Bakers costs were not high, and that was one reason we hired him. The back interior of his van - in which he transported our coffee table - didn't look convincingly professional. Made me wonder what his shop must have looked like.

Bakers Mark was as thorough and diligent as any contractor I have ever worked with. Every detail was addressed and handled with expert craftsmanship and care. The owner was Damon Baker and he was as honest as they come. The bid matched the job costs to a penny. He was more of a “home appearance consultant” than a painter. Damon advised on potential color schemes that might fare better during season changes, with dust and dirt affecting them in the future, etc. Bakers Mark was respectful of my home and cleaned up every portion of their job each day. My home looks brand new!
