We went with this company because of a friends recommendation, as well as their ratings on this website. However, we did not have a good experience. 1. When he came and gave me the quote, I explained I had bought 6 gallons of paint which should be plenty, he said no that he needed 10 gallons to paint my foyer and hallway. Guess how many extra cans of paint I had leftover? 4, the exact 4 I went to buy because he overestimated on paint. I do not mind if it is 1-2 gallons left over, but 4! That is $120 worth of paint we cannot use. 2. They came and painted our foyer and hallway, including the ceilings. Immediately when I got home I saw issues. (Our daughter was there while they were painting). I saw paint on the moldings, banister, the upper window in the foyer, and even on the chandelier cap, which I could not reach because it is two-story. Their cutting work was horrible and even some places you could still see the old paint color on their cutting, as well as a spot on the ceiling. 3. They got paint on my hallway carpet. They never said a word to us, they just tried to wipe it and left it! 4. They left paint tape on the arch going into our dining room. We took the painting tape off, which subsequently took the other paint color off, the color we were not repainting. 5. We used a matte paint, which I get can be difficult to work with, however, they did not bother to remove the doorbell cover or a vent cover, but chose to paint around it with a brush and not the roller, thereby leaving a different texture, which stands out horrendously on matte paint. After they tried to explain why it did that (paint vs. roller) I asked them why they did not just remove it?! They did remove only the doorbell cover on the fix. 6. They failed to paint the attic door entry which was in the hallway ceiling. It had been painted the same color as the old paint, but yet they did not even ask if they were supposed to paint it the new color, but just left it. 7. Neither time did the owner come by they do a walk-thru when the job was completed, even knowing there were issues. He said he would send someone over to color match the paint that their tape took off, and two weeks later I have not heard a word from him. Now, I will say he did try to come fix it. However, there is still paint on the chandelier cap I cannot get off, I have to touch up molding paint, now I have to color match the paint in the dining room because he never followed up to do it. I really wish I could post pictures because it just floors me how badly this paint job was. It irritates me that he never even checked back to see if the paint came out of the carpet, never got in touch to fix the paint they messed up, never contacted me back to make sure I was happy with the end result. Instead, he was defensive, telling me they do not paint molding, i.e. the attic entry door (well if it is the same color as the ceiling, why would not you?), saying it was not his crew that got paint on the banister (even though it was the same color). I would have been happy to work through these issues with the owner, however his lack of trying to keep in touch with me and do things he said he was going to do is unprofessional. Now, I have 4 extra gallons of paint, have to repaint moulding, touch up the paint they did on the cutting surfaces, get my carpets cleaned, and additionally color match the paint that their tape stripped off. I am sorry, but I would never recommend this company to anyone. The painters did not do a good job, the lack of communication is unprofessional, and now I am left fixing things that he should have checked back on and had fixed after saying he would. I selected this company based on reviews, but this is my honest review. I would never use this company again, nor recommend them to anyone.
