Gave a detailed proposal and stayed with that price. He was on time when he said he was coming to replace basement door. He did a fantasic job on the door and cleaned up after he finished. I was totally satisfied and would hire him again without a question.

My wife and I hired Brian to replace interior luann doors with solid pine doors. He also replaced an over sized storm door that had been on the front of the office since we moved in in 1984. The entrace needed some custom carpenty to narrow the opening to a standard 32 x 80. Brian also did a fantastic job with the exterir trim work around the front door...it looks fantastic. Brian provided sage advise along the way....I was going to seal the doors and Brian said not until after I apply wood conditioner! We have a whole other work that Brian is going to do for us! Maybe no end in site (do not tell my wife!)

B&C was very quick to respond and very understanding of the urgency of the situation. They showed up on time and were prepared to work. The door to be installed was measured and I was assured it was the right size and would fit. However, as the molding was going up I noticed a 2" to 3" gap at the top of the door. I had to ask to have insulation put in the gap and then had to provide the insulation. I didn't check the door from outside until after they left. There was an 1 1/2 inch gap on the outside - which turned into a waterfall running down the inside of my door during the hurricane.

It was a pleasure dealing with Brian and B+C. He arrived on time for the consult and 10 minutes early for the project. He completed the job well and cleaned up any mess and pre-existing mess as well. Brian was professional and did everything he said he would. I would highly recommend B+C and will be using them in the future! It's nice to finally have a good experience with a contractor!

I am more than please and satisfied with Brian Chute of B&C Contracting. I am a Designer working with home owners on determining the most cost effective solutions for needed repairs and alterations on thier homes. B & C Contractors was one of three contractors recommended to me from service magic. Brian was the only contractor who called me back WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. He showed up ON TIME, did EXACTLY THE WORK REQUESTED, CLEANED UP COMPLETELY, AND FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH THE DETAILS OF THE PROJECT. My only hesitation in rating his work is he will get too busy and I want him to be available to work for the rest of my clients.

Brian is the first contractor I've worked with who showed up early for a meeting. He did a great job installing our doors, and was responsive when I door he ordered arrived severely dented. I have called him again for other small projects.
