Write a ReviewLow price, highest quality, first-rate professional job in EVERY respect. I was VERY HAPPY with B&D!
B & D is the best. Quality service, go the extra mile to make you happy, friendly and flexible, great value proposition. Everything you want.
Very easy to work with, punctual, and got the job done fast. Great work on my maple floors.
Professional, competitive cost and did what was promised. Honest and reputable.

They did a great job.
Had B&D refinish ~650 SqFt of hardwood on the first floor. Also had them rip out carpeting and pad in the 2nd floor hallway and install new hardwood and finish. When we returned home after a timely 3-day vacation, we were speechless. The quality of the work and attention to detail was fantastic. They cleaned everything, and took great care to contain dust. We had them back a month later and removed carpeting in our living room and install new hardwood. We are planning on having them back sometime in 2020 to install hardwood in the 4 upstairs bedrooms. Binh and his son Don are the best.
We hired B and D Sanding to refinish our wide pine floors. They are not that old but just were really mistreated and stained very dark giving the whole home a very dark atmosphere even in the middle of the day. We just purchased the home over the summer and it was at the top of the to do list. Full disclosure, I have worked in the flooring trade for years and also had set up cameras all over the house to watch them work, I thought it would be a fun project to the whole place come back to life. I have to say that after watching them, for me it ended up being a ton of small things that was disappointing. I will just list the pros and cons to make this shorter. Pros:-Quick and reasonable estimate. (except for additional poly coats, that was ridiculously overpriced) -They were available to start pretty quickly- Binh was nice to deal with -Most of the floor came out well Cons:-They did not sand after the sanding sealer defeating the purpose of using it-Poly was applied to parts of my metal heaters and baseboards-Guy smoked in my kitchen and threw his butts on my lawn after peeing in the bushes -Some of the floor nails had to be set in and driven in so deep they split the flooring (most of them were avoidable, a couple I can see happening naturally)-They use multiple cans of poly poured into one bucket, allowing small bits of debris in it leaving rough spots under the finish in some places.-For reasons unknown, they tore off the plastic sheeting I placed over my doorways and cabinets before they were done, resulting in dust everywhere I was avoiding and also ruined door frame paint (Since I put it up, why did they touch it at all?)-Some poly on my deck was left where they were pouring it in large can-They asked for money before they were done-Some swirling from buffer in kitchen area As you can see it was not so much the actual finish product as it was all of the little things and I am glad I have footage to back it all up. I am critical being in the business so please take that into consideration when reading this review. Most of the floor came out ok, but service and details it what you remember more.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thought. We are pleased that you like how the floor came out. We don't deny the fact that there are differences between floor refinishers, and how they work/ or each different method that they use -how they think it works best. It's indeed an interesting process to know/ to watch through. Sometimes, it's a little bit different than how you often see it. That's the same among us here too. And, we do apologize for having you get caught on to these small things watching the whole process. Regarding about the plastic, we are usually unable to vacuum from the plastic. The problem with it is the chance of
They were great to work with; honest, reliable, and prompt.
Excellent work, I will be hiring them again for more floor projects!
