Profile
Banker Insulation of Northern Arizona, Inc.

Banker Insulation employs skilled personnel and has an ongoing training program teaching both safety and the latest procedures for installation of all types of applications that different homes may require. This insures top quality workmanship! A well insulated home will have no gaps in the insulation and all cracks will be filled with the insulating product. The purpose is to eliminate any air infiltration, as any area that is not insulated properly will lose energy for the life of the home. insulation in the walls is the one application that is all but impossible to upgrade after the sheetrock is put up, because to put more insulation in there, you would have to tear down the sheetrock. You should keep this in mind when you decide how much insulation to put in your walls. One must note that the ceiling area is the greatest source of heat loss and if the house has an attic, additional insulation can be added later. This R factor will be explained to you by your estimator.

Project: Install a Gas, Pellet, or Wood Stove
It took almost 4 weeks from contact to finish for a simple install of pipe for a wood stove. We had to call the company for a status report since they did not call us. Once complete, the pipe inside the home is crooked. We mentioned this 3 times to the secretary (Wyndy) but we never received a call back. The only consistent communication was when it was time to invoice. We paid, but I guess they are not concerned about the crooked and now leaking pipe. Our house now has smoke inside when we use the stove. This is not what we expected. Perhaps their specialty is the fireplace, and not woodstoves.

I hired Banker Insulation to put Fiberglas insulation in the crawl space under the house. Later I hired an electrician to do some work which required his crawling under our house. He reported he found rolls of insulation and hooks in a pile in our crawl space and unfinished areas of the floor. Banker Insulation came out to inspect the job & reported that it looked like the wind had blown some of the insulation away form the floor (wind under the house?).I paid $300 for another crew to complete the job - their comments were that the prior crew simply didn't complete the job. I felt the owner LIED to me!
