They are very professional and communicative.

Baraka was good on there word. They showed up at the time they said they would. Followed up by calling to check in. Cleaning was done by a very sweet young woman who was passionate about her work, arrived right on time, hard her own supplies and worked very hard. Regardless of the fact that she didn t speak fluent English (mostly Spanish) we seemed to be able to communicate just fine by using a phone translator app on her phone. She had a great disposition so we bought her lunch and she was very appreciative.

I had requested a deep clean. I need to hire another company to come in and do what was missed....and the house smelled like vineagar.

The maid they sent worked hard and was very sweet. Downside was she did not speak or understand English and I don't speak Spanish . The office made a mistake. I was expecting the maid on Thursday, as agreed on. No one showed so I called the office and they rescheduled for a maid on Friday. I would have slept a little later on Thursday, but it worked out okay.

I requested a quote to deep clean my kitchen from Claudia at Baraka Cleaning Service. I hired them based on her quote and schedule an appointment. The lady who came to clean my kitchen didn't speak English and I wasn't able to communicate with her. I had to use a translator app to communicate. I had to go behind her and pointed out what she missed. She didn't clean, the refrigerator, oven, toaster oven, and more. When I called Claudia she said it was too much work for what she charged me, she missed quoted. And if I wanted her to come back, there would be an additional charge. Jennifer was professional, with it, sharp and did a good job

I was really disappointed in Baraka Cleaning Services . We contracted for 8 hours and we were completely disappointed in the work that was provided. After photographing what the cleaning girl said she did, I come to the conclusion that I would never hire or recommend this service to anyone.

We needed to get a friend's apartment clean quickly as he was returning from the hospital. They were quick to book someone for us. Doris, who showed up was efficient, sweet and courteous.

Initial customer service was great, and received a call while the cleaner was still at my home. I reported a problem and did a quick check of things, but needed more time to check the house in order to give the owner and accurate answer to my satisfaction with the job done. Throughout the day I noticed areas the cleaner missed, as well as some while she was cleaning - like moving everything so she could clean but not putting things back, including an entire shelf of books. In addition, while cleaning the bathroom, cleaner removed air freshner dispenser from the wall socket, and when she plugged it back in the dispenser was upside down and leaked oil all over a decorative item (which didn't belong there in the first place) and item was stained and ruined. This incident was reported to the owner, but no offer to replace the item was made, even though I was assured the cleaner was licensed and bonded. I specifically asked that woodwork be given careful attention and found a few areas had never been touched. The owner never called back to follow up to see how I felt about the overall cleaning job, nor did they call to book another cleaning, even though I initially stated I wanted regular biweekly service. They make a great sales pitch, but then drop the ball.

The cleaning lady arrived with supervisor. The supervisor left & when I wanted to confirm something with the cleaning lady, she informed me she didn't speak English. I don't speak Spanish. It would have been nice to ask me if that would be a problem, because it was. Also, areas were not cleaned or cleaned poorly. She had to return another day to clean those areas.

Used earth friendly products. She was thorough in the cleaning. They were very responsive and quick.

The workers did a good job, but there was communication issues which is not a big deal for me. Overall they did a good job.

My main problem is that the woman who came didn't speak English, which made communication difficult. I wish that the first page of this survey would have had an option where I could have selected a rating of "not this time" in rating the business, because I'm having her back, and then we'll see after that. What she did, she did well, though, w/a couple of minor issues that she wouldn't have known about, I don't think.

We had a cleaner Come from Barca Housecleaning. She was not able to clean the house the way it should be . I had to reclean everything. She spoke NO English, not one word. The owner was supposed to be available by phone in case we had a problem. I called her 6 times with no response. In addition, she damaged the TV. While she was cleaning around it, it suddenly stopped and we cannot get it to work. The owner said it wasn't on so how do I know they broke it. It was on until she screwed it up. I warned the manager that we had this type of problem with house cleaners in the past and to have her be careful. The final straw was when she was going to clean our newly remodeled marble bathroom with Lime Away. Really! Read the label and go to the website. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MARBLE, WILL ETCH AND CLOUD THE STONE. She stated they use it all the time on marble. Heaven help the people she has as clients. And she told me this was her BEST cleaner. What a mess she left. Companies with Home Advisor need to be insured against problems like this.

Staff showed up on time and had the equipment to complete the job

Arrived right on time with all materials in tow. I explained expectations upfront especially since I only needed basics and didn't need sections done (no windows, appliances, stairs etc) but because she didn't speak English well I reminded her every now and then since she naturally wanted to go above and beyond, which is great! Very happy with service and will use again.

A very good experience. Owner of company made sure the job was taken care of.

They are the best. They make the difference putting heart and soul to it.

Good value

I used their cleaning lady one time. She did not speak English which made communicating with her difficult. I felt bad for her because she seemed very unhappy and beaten down. However, she came to do a job and I was frustrated that her attitude spilled over onto her work. She was slow and the house was just not that clean when she left. She did a surface job -- we have a dog, and a lot of dog hair on the floors, and some areas of the floor looked like they hadn't been touched. In the end, I felt that I spent a lot of money for sub-standard service. I would not use this cleaning service again.

She was very professional. I will definitely use her services again.

At first I was irked. Saturday at 9:00 a.m. became 1:00 p.m., then 2:00 p.m., then after 20 minutes of back in and forth calls because the gal couldn't find our place, I was ready to say don't bother. All that was quickly forgotten when I saw how wonderfully clean our place was getting!  We have Yellow Labs that shed. A lot. The kitchen and bathrooms are all spotless. The couch got pulled out from the wall, vacuumed under and all the wood floors throughout the house look wonderful. This gal put her whole heart into this and we really appreciate it. I can't recommend this service more highly.
