Ed knows about trees! He came gave us a competitive quote, we scheduled a day and time and they fulfilled their end of the contract. They were timely, efficient and expedient. They left our property and driveway looking better than when they arrived. The crew was great and very considerate and hard working. We recommend them and plan to use their services again in the future.

They are honest, hard working and they clean-up after the job is finished. They are polite and on-time. You will not find a better tree removal and tree trimming service anywhere. We will use them again whenever the need arises. Thank you Ed and your great team.

I read Deb Vs review with interest because when Ed was doing her work in October, he was dodging my calls and not doing the job I hired him for. I signed a contract with Barden in July. Ed told me he would not get to the job until September. That was OK with me. Come early September I called him to see when he would schedule my project. He told me he was on a job and would check the schedule that night and call me back. That was his stock answer. If he answered, he was on a job and said he would call me back. He never called back. So I would wait and try again, toward the end of each week. I would either get his answering service that his mailbox was full or if he did pick up it was... ";I am on a job. I will have to call you tonight"; We went this way for weeks into months. He only actually put me on the schedule once in early October. It was a Monday. I took the day off to be there. By noon his crew had not shown. I called and he said he would try to be there by 3. That came and went. No show. (He was probably doing Deb Vs job.) No schedule. Full mailbox. "I will have to call you tonight" I gave up in November. On top of the no shows and dodges and no callbacks, his crew had done work for my neighbor in mid-July; that is how I got his name and got the contract. In doing my neighbors job, his crew dropped a log on my fence and crushed a section of it. He assured me that he would fix the fence when he came back to do my job. It is still there, crushed. I guess I will have to pay to have it fixed. Or else take him to small claims court. Now it is March. No calls. No, " am sorry I could not get to you last year. I will do the job this spring."; No, "I am sorry I did not fix your fence. I will fix it" I absolutely would not recommend Barden. I would give him no stars if I could.

We were on a time schedule because we were having extensive construction done around the property. We needed 4 trees removed (one maple had an 80' canopy), 3 trimmed (another 80' canopy maple). Ed was able to accommodate our time consideration & showed up with his crew when he said they would. All members of the team were friendly, courteous, professional & extremely hard working. They were here for 3 days & on time each day. It was crazy what Andrew can do up in the cherry picker. he can swing branches with the best of them; not a single 'oopsie' event. The price was extremely, & I do mean EXTREMELY competitive. We had other quotes previously that were nearly double just to take out the one big maple! that doesn't even take into account all the other trees they removed/trimmed. Bottom line: HIRE THEM. It was so nice to have someone actually show up when they said they would, do exactly what they said they would (included stump grinding), cleaned up daily & were NICE to boot. I would have no hesitation in recommending Barden's for any tree concerns you may have.

The work was done as per my specifications without any damage to nearby plants. Ed and his crew arrived on time, they were courteous and obviously know what they are doing when it comes to climbing up into a tree and bringing down some huge branches without damage to the garden below. Nice clean up as well. What i liked is that they actually came back after giving me the estimate, unlike other tree trimming companies I have contacted.

Incredible value for 35' pine and stump removal, and trimming another tree. One friend paid more than twice my tree trim. Owner very prompt, personable, and good crew.
