"The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but did a great job communicating throughout the process and changes. I started out with one thing in mind but as the project progressed I asked for changes. They were eager to accommodate and worked very hard to make sure I was pleased. We hired Rich and Toni to pressure wash and paint our front steps/stoop, back deck and railings. We had another company to do this about three years ago, and within a year there were bare spots, peeling and a lot of mildew. Once we observed the process that Rich and Toni used to complete the job (wash, sand, paint, sand, paintâ ¦) it was clear why there was a huge discrepancy between the first companyâ s results and the outcome of the Barefoot Painters! Once we saw the results of their outdoor work, we asked Toni and Rich about repainting our kitchen cabinets. We originally thought we would have to reface the doors (they had a coating on them that had yellowed over the years, and they looked very old and tired.) They assured us that refinishing the cabinets would make them look brand new. They took off the 20 cabinet doors to refinish at home, then came back to work on the boxes. Without us asking, they also painted the backs of the doors, inside the drawers, and bought/replaced all of the hinges, and put buffers of the doors and drawers. The cabinets look brand new! I canâ t say enough about the friendliness, thoroughness, reliability and honesty of this company! The pricing was very reasonable, they made sure our house was clean every day when they left, and they were clear in any communication. Rich and Toni are meticulous in their work, making sure everything meets their high standards. We already have plans to use them in the future!

In all the 18 years I have been in my condo, I have never had such exemplary work done. They are timely, professional, hard workers, take pride in their work, and are reasonably priced. In fact, residents of my complex that saw their work took their business cards, and several hired them on the spot!

Prompt response and excellent communication and customer service. Replaced facia boards and soffit along with side paneling. Replaced flashings did everything and took all the extra effort to make sure everything was done perfect. I appreciate them very much.

Overall great experience hiring Barefoot painting & renovations! His team was hard working, punctual and respectful. Took about three days for the project to be completed from tearing down old deck to a new rebuild. I'm satisfied with the job done.

Im looking at these reviews for the first time .....and amaze of the high ratings when all i needed was a porch ceiling replace with the more up to date wood panel decor style and strain. A simple job for a experienced general handyman. Yes he was on time but he is a fast talker. Communication was not complete and store receipts were not present. Typing up what you brought is not a receipt. Several time Mr Rich said he has been doing this for over 30 years but i really can't tell you the worth behind that. At the end of the project he was not even here and wanted me to give the finally check to his helper Jason. How as a owner of a business you will say that without you yourself checking out the project yourself.? Yet alone be there at the end to see what the customer thinks of everything. Yes after i called him and said somethings he came out the next day. The price he gave for the project was not to bad, maybe $100 or $200 over what i thought. Im a home improvement person so i do my homework but do not have the time and all the major tools for some jobs. Why i look for good contractors. I was very disappointed in the final project. At first things were looking good but turn for the worst in the final days. Mr Rich gonna tell me he was disappointed in the strain work Jason did which is his worker and represents his brand. As the customer that is not my problem. My problem is the mess that was left. We will have to go over everything again. More time and money. He gave me a $200 discount but as i think about that, i took the beam work out the project so he came with that but what about the job that was ugly and botched!! He said give it time and it will fade. WHAT???? He also said he would come back out....No Thank you!! With over 30 years doing this as he said.....how could you not see this as it was going on and put the blame of your worker?? Maybe you need to be on the job site as well. These 5 stars are so amazing to me. This was a small project, i did not rush him at all. Take your time i said. I cannot recommend him to nobody. Home Decor is my major. Trying not yo be the hype customer.....and be fair myself, but very disappointed and i got to go over all this after i payed him.....if i had stop payment on the final check he would have felt some kinda way, yes the way i feel!!
