Barnes Home Inspections

Mr. Barnes took samples of the outside as well as inside air around my home (testing for MOLD) and said I'd receive a full report in a week. I expect it within the next few days.

Mr. Barnes was quick to respond to my request, completed the job quickly, was very thorough, and sent the report promptly to me, including photos of current conditions of areas of my home that are not easily accessible.

Mr. Barnes came the day after I contacted him, did a thorough inspection and pointed out to us any issues he found. The report was in my inbox the next day with exactly what he discussed with us. VERY happy with the work and the service.

Mr. Barnes was very helpful and informative on the types of mold and the process for finding it his report was concise and complete and he helps you lay it out in layman's terms so you can understand it without having a PhD I would very much recommend him again

What more can I say about Tom that others have not already said. Tom was very thorough! In fact, our home (we are the buyers) that was being inspected by Tom was previously inspected just a couple weeks prior. While the previous company has a high recommendation rating, Tom still located a few things that would require future attention not mentioned in the previous inspection, as well as finding a couple potential fire hazards that could have been dangerous in the future. I would highly recommend him. And if you made it this far down in the review let me say this. I rarely take the time to "rate" a business or service unless I was impressed, or completely dissatisfied without resolution. And to top it off on how dedicated he is, he took my inspection last minute prior to his anniversary get away. That to me is dedication to service when you're willing to do a full inspection on a near 5k sq ft home, and complete the inspection report prior to leaving vs. putting it off until the following business week.

We were in the process of purchasing a home and already signed a contract when Mr Barnes came to do the inspection. We found out there were numerous large problems with the home and ended up having to cancel our contract. Tom was extremely thorough, Professional and very personable. I felt like he was family and although the inspection went badly, Tom gave his sympathy for our situation and said he would help us get out of the contract because he wouldn't put his own kids in the house!
