Mark did a fantastic job on our floors!!! We couldn t be happier with the job he did. We had a couple of problem spots that needed repair and he did such a great job patching them that you can t even tell where the issues were anymore. If you re in need of having your floors refinished, I d highly recommend that you give Barrett Hardwood Floors a call!

Spots on floor that looked as if water was spilled, We had to have them return after we complained. Broken water line to fridge ice maker "Due to them" was tied and left hanging behind frigde. We were never informed they broke a line, so water was dripping into finished basement slowly, Large flatscreen TV was not covered properly and had dust all thru it. Plastic into rooms was not hung properly and dust was everywhere due to this. The repairs we have had to do since they were here have been annoying and we would not allow them back in our house in the future due to these issues.

"THE CUSTOMER HIRED SOMEONE SEPARATE FROM US TO MOVE THE FRIDGE THEY ARE CONFUSED. DURING THE JOB THE CHILDREN TOOK THE PLASTIC OFF THE TV AND DOORWAYS, AND THE DOG WAS WALKING THROUGH OUR WORK AREA TRACKING IN SNOW, IMPOSSIBLE CONDITIONS TO GET PROPER RESULTS, THEY NEED TO CONTROL WHAT GOES ON IN THEIR HOME, AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES."

I had 3 bedroom floors done. I had carpet on them for over 20 years. They look brand new. I highly recommend them.

I was extremely satisfied with the end result of the refinishing. Alfonso, the gentleman that did the work was extsremely polite and very neat.The cost of the job was within the ball park of other professional that I received estimates from. I wouldn't heitate to rehire them in the future. Also, the gentleman and his crew that did the furniture moving was also very professional.

Excellent. All the staff we met, from the salesperson, to the young men who moved the furniture and the gentleman who actually did the refinishing work were pleasant and very professional. The floor looks amazing and we wish that we had the work done before!

Working with Barrett was a great experience. Contrary to other reviews, I had no problem contacting them. Afonso did an oustanding job refinishing our floors. He even came in on Memorial Day to work to make sure they were done before we moved in. Everyone that has come to visit has commented on how great the floors look.

We hired because of good ratings and recommendation. Met with owner prior to job start. On day of job start, workers showed up without knowledge of job. Called owner who said he had it under control. Owner not easily reached. I told him on several occassions that I wanted what was already on floor. On day to stain, he ran around to find the stain. When job was finished, the appearance was too glossy and not the same as what was on the floor. He agreed to coat over it. Work was done over in the proper finish, however, spots were missed. I called him, he did not return call. Also, the urethane coating sloppily appied on edges.

Then he picked semi gloss and when job was done said it was to shiny, he picked it!!! Excellent, The floors are perfect. Josh was polite, professional, and considerate of my home. I would use this company again and request their employee Josh. He blocked the doors with plastic and there was very little dust. I would recommend and use this company again.

Very professional. The employees of Barrett who did the work were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The job was completed on time. The resulting existing floor refinishing and installation of some new flooring came out beautiful.

the work was excellent, but the communication was very poor. we were told the job would start on a particular day so we stayed home all day and no one showed up or called. we were also told we would get a chance to look at the color before the floor was finished, but when I got home from work the floor was already finished and I was not happy with the color. again, poor communication. these issues were all resolved and our floors are beautiful and the work was very clean - very little dust. overall, we were pleased.

Barrett showed up on time to give me an estmate, and was very willing to work with me when I needed to change the schedule. They cleaned up as they went, the work area was always neat and clean. The floors look amazing, including the area where there had been old fire and water damage. They used reclaimed wood that matched the era of the house and it is impossible to tell that it's a patch. I would recommend them to my friends and will use them again when I am ready to do the upstairs floors.
