Five stars don't even seem like a fair rating for Bart because he deserves more. I had an emergency plumbing issue at my home (actually, two) and he was able to accommodate me by coming to my home that same day (i.e., in the morning). He even arrived early. To say Bart went above and beyond would be an understatement. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but extremely sensitive to my budget constraints. In addition, Bart walked me through every step of the process so that I had a thorough understanding of the work that was going to be performed and why it was necessary. He completed all the work in a meticulous and timely manner and left the room as he found it. Although I hope not to have such an emergency again, I'm comforted in knowing that Bart is only a phone call away. It goes without saying that I highly recommend Bart Edelstein.

Had a leak from the second floor. Bart first reasoned it out with us (without tearing into the ceiling), correctly diagnosed the problem and efficiently fixed it. Bart was incredibly considerate and accommodating.

Bart was at my house within 4 hours from the time I called him, even when I stated it was not an emergency and I was willing to wait a week. Once he arrived and I saw what he found out about my water leak, I noticed that he fixed the problem without replacing any parts and showed me that he was honest and saved me money, were someone else would probably replaced the WHOLE CHECK VALVE for a bigger payday. TOTALLY SATISFIED. I recommend him.

Bart came over to the house right away to fix a running toilet. He did a good job and I would highly recommend him.

So far I've had Bart over on three projects - repair a complex set of issues for my boiler and hot water system, repair a toilet and sink, and diagnose and correct a pump. He did a terrific job! He cared very much about my satisfaction, he charged very fair prices, and he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I strongly recommend Bart.

Bart was on time, on budget and like craftsman of the past, signed his name to his work. It is refreshing to have a contractor stand behind his work enough to sign his name for all to see. Other pro's should learn from this.

We lost water in the house at 7 pm on a Friday night. I called Home Advisor and got connected to Bart. He came at 9 pm that night and checked the water connections into the house and concluded that we had a problem with the well water pump. He gave us the cell phone number of a business owner to come and check the well pump. By 11 pm we had the confirmation that someone will come in the morning and check our pump. That was indeed the case and by 3 pm we had water again. It would not have been possible without Bart's involvement, so thanks, Bart!

Moments after I requested a plumber via Homeadvisor, Bart called me to discuss my issue. The toilet on the first floor bathroom kept bubbling and then overflowed twice. He had one of his colleagues come and thus far, appears to have fixed it. He is honest, straight forward, didn't try to upsell and followed up with me to see if I was happy. I would recommend Bart in the future and will be contacting him when issues arise.

He is honest, reliable, fixes it right the first time, prices are fair, readily available, does not use profanity at least when I was overseeing the work. Overall he is a true professional. I would definitely hire him again for future work. 1) He fixed a dripping shower head 2) Sealed a hole in the PVC pipe 3) Installed a new outdoor faucet. He also installs water Heaters. I wish I would have known before I called Home Depot.
