We had a water drainage issue where water was seeping into our crawlspace and causing potential health risks with mold and the air quality in our home. We shopped around and got several very costly estimates from other companies that had several different and some very elaborate solutions that involved installing drains all over our yard, etc... Sean came over, took a look and said, "simple, we just need to do a little grading and put in a french drain on one side of the house to keep your cost down and if there's still a problem we'll extend it around the back of the house." His solution made the most sense and his cost was well within our budget. He also worked with us with a payment schedule during the project that we were both comfortable with as well. Sean's crew came in, and worked hard and fast. They were very professional and courteous with both my wife and I. During the job, Sean's guys noticed the seal on our foundation was wearing away and the block had holes. Knowing the ultimate goal was to keep water out of our crawlspace they brought it to our attention and we decided to go ahead and get it taken care of sealing up the foundation wall. He made the add-on very affordable. I felt he had our best interest in mind and that's much appreciated. His crew wrapped things up quickly and we've had a few downpours since then so we've had a chance to see the solution in action. The musty smell, which has been a constant annoyance after even the smallest rain, is gone completely. The rainwater gets diverted away from the house and Sean's solution proved to be exactly what was needed. I will be calling Bartz again for our next job with no hesitation. I hope he stays in business for a long time.
