When I called for an estimate to have my roof replaced I talked to the owner who sent Frank out the very next day. Frank fully evaluated my roof and even walked on it to check for the condition. He fully explained what needed to be done based on his evaluation. I contracted to have the roof replaced as well as the soffit and the gutters & gutter guards. The team was able to start the project early and once they started they worked on the roof for 3 days in a row (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to get it completed timely - they worked from morning to dark and didn't waste any time. The yard was immaculate after they finished and they kept everything cleaned up as they went. Frank frequently checked in during the project. He also helped me submit the roof warranty information to the shingle manufacturer. I would highly recommend Bay State Design and will call them again when I need further work done at the house. I have the best looking roof in my development.

Good work crew, cleaned everything up, worked as a team that wasted no time. Job was done as contracted in one day and follow up next day to finish minor things. Frank Co Rep was very professional and explained in detail how job would go along and gave a fair price for the work. We are happy with the job done and would refer to others.

After our initial meeting with Frank, we decided against a metal roof and chose an asphalt/shingle roof. Very pleased with all aspects of our roofing project. From beginning to end, everyone that we interacted with was very professional, courteous, and hard-working. So impressed with Frank, the company and the crew. They tore off an existing roof and replaced it with a new roof. They were very responsive and so meticulous about protecting our property around the roof. Came on time, put tarps down all around the house and made sure they asked where to put dumpsters before they did. you would never know they were even there except for the nicely done roof. Frank really knew what he was doing. My husband had past roofing experience and could tell that they did things the right way. They replaced the wood where there were leaks and did a superb job. We would highly recommend them.

All the men were very professional, and Frank the project manager was willing to go the extra mile for us even making a few minor repairs not on the contract. We walked the roof to gather after the job was done. The roof was in pristine condition. I would Highly recommend these contractors as well as use them for future projects! Well done Guys!

The Provider was extremely compassionate and patient with my 95 year old mother . He went above and beyond what was expected and his expertise clearly evident. I would recommend him him without any reservation.

This is an excellent company to work with. The job was completed in a timely fashion at the agreed on price and they cleaned up afterward as promised. In addition to the windows that were replaced, they installed a chimney cap. Frank went on the roof to check out the chimney, went inside to check out the windows to be replaced, and explained step by step what needed to be done. My thanks to Frank and his crew for a job well done. I would definitely hire them again.

Frank was extremely professional. He was the only contractor that actually got up on my roof to inspect it. He even temporarily patched our roof even before we interviewed other contractors for quotes. Bay States price was better than any other company (Much Better) so we were able to install new gutters and down spouts as well. When hired, his team was on time, very nice, completed the roof on schedule and the agreed price was met with no hidden fees. The roof and gutters look great. I would highly recommend Bay State Design and will hire them again if and when we need there services.

THEY WOULD VERY PROFESSIONAL SO FAR EXCELLENT

We wrote a premature review about Les Davis/Bay State Design; at the time, we were simply relieved that the work we had hired him to undertake appeared, finally, to be winding down and that it was mostly decent. We have to revise our review now to make it more accurate. We employed Les as the contractor for a number of renovations on our house, We found him to be difficult to work with from the get-go but we were eager to get underway. He was hair-trigger defensive and contentious when he was not regaling us with his condescending lectures about his knowledge. He started the contract several months late. This proved to be typical for him; we could usually reach him by phone, but getting him out to do work on schedule was a perpetual challenge. In the end (such as it is), some of the work was well done, but other aspects were under par. He even admitted as much on occasion, which is not to say that he repaired all the flaws left behind. In the end, Les became too unpleasant and exhausting to work with. In sum, we cannot recommend Bay State Design.

Out of all the companies that came to give me estimates, Frank was the only one who went in the attic to look at the underside of the existing roof. He also put a ladder up and looked at the roof from the top. Not one other company even looked at the roof, but instead relied on satellite photos to estimate cost. I didn't like that ! We had excellent communication , and I am very satisfied with the new roof

Frank Westphal sent a great crew to install my new roof. I couldn't be happier with the finished product! The contract was upheld as promised. These guys worked in the oppressive heat and got the job done.

They did this project with me being 2-3 hours away from the property, its a rental. They did a good job at a good price. You can trust this company to complete the project in a professional manner and they will work with you on materials/pricing according to your needs and your budget.

Wonderful people to work with. Very professional and courteous. We had rainy weather foe three weeks in a row. It was impossible working conditions. Frank kept us informed of the schedule changes and did everything he could to get the work done in a timely manner. He would call or text each time there was a delay and not keep us waiting for information. He took the time to find the cement board we wanted and the look great. His crew was excellent and hard working. I would highly recommend them.

Most of the usual concerns when hiring a contractor can be eliminated with this company. They stuck to their original estimate, including a verbal component. The work was done in a timely and dedicated fashion. All my questions were answered politely, respectfully and knowledgeably. I felt very comfortable with this company on my property, the roofs look great and cleanup was thorough. They are priced reasonably and materials are great quality. I would be thrilled to have them come back to do my other building!

Very professional, great communication. Got the job done very quickly and cleaned the entire area. I think it is cleaner then before they started. When doing their analysis for the estimate they were very thorough. Price was just about the same as the other estimates we received. I will reach out to them when I have another project. Already recommended them to a few friends and colleagues.
