DO NOT HIRE!!! I hired BayView Restoration to abate asbestos that was found in the inspection of my new home, built in 1937. To be fair, the job was passed to them by another company but BayView didn't do their own inspection, and they never investigated any further than removing the obvious pipes. Months later, I had a company reinsulating the attic, only to find a layer of asbestos insulation under many layers of modern insulation. Endangering the workers who weren't properly prepared, bringing work to a halt (electricians as well), and leaving the house uninhabitable for nearly a month now. Bayview was also hired to remediate asbestos found in my basement in the inspection. They claimed they completed the work, yet it was just confirmed by an independent testing company, that it was not dealt with at all. They came out quickly, did a free estimate, and scheduled the job quickly. When I went to pay my down payment, their payment site took the entire amount... DO NOT HIRE!

What impressed me the most was that supervisor Marius proactively explained the entire process if asbestos was to be found. He was very clear also about explaining that, if no asbestos were found, other companies could remove/fix the textured ceiling less expensively than his company. It turned out that no asbestos was detected and I am holding off on changing the ceiling. But I highly recommend Bay View for such service.

They were pretty booked up but when I explained our situation Stas went above and beyond to get us some help quickly. Came out immediately to provide an estimate. Then once I decided to go with them, they expedited the scheduling of the work and completed it satisfactorily.

Calin was terrific! Came and provided an estimate for Asbestos abatement and came two business days later to do the job! The workers were efficient and did a great job! Calin realized we needed carpet and offered assistance there too. He got us an estimate that was less expensive then what we were given by another company and the carpet was better quality! One day after the abatement the carpet was installed. The whole process was easy and affordable and we would definitely recommend Bay View.

Calin Foarce was my point of contact throughout, from the estimate through the final walk-through after remediation. He communicated clearly, responded to every email within 24 hours, and followed through on his words. He accommodated my schedule with seeming ease and made me feel that my convenience was more important than that of his crew. I am happy to know the company performs other work besides asbestos remediation so that I can call on them again.

From start to finish, a good experience with this crew. They were prompt, friendly and finished the job a couple hours ahead of schedule. The only reason I'm rating them 4.5 instead of 5 was because they didn't fully clean their work space -- they neglected to reinstall a closet door or clean some obvious smudge marks they left on the front door. But those are trivialities; I am thrilled with Bay View and would not hesitate to use them again.

These guys are really some of the best people in the industry. Great prices, great service! The owner Stan and the supervisor Calin were both very professional and overly accommodating to our needs and requests. They even took care of cleaning our ducts free of charge after the job was done. Simply blown away by the level of customer service which is unparalleled in this industry.

It was a great experience. I would recommend them.
