Reviews
Write a ReviewHorrible company overpriced and they basically sabotage pool and pool equipment to get you to use them to repair damage they have done .they are unreliable they do Horrible job at maintaining your pool but hey hire them and see for yourself
They replaced my equipment with a used chlorinator so "it would be cheaper for them to service". When I told them I don't want a used one and questioned the off-brand, they said don't worry, we warranty it as long as we service it. Now that it needs service they tell me they "gifted it" to us 9 months ago and won't cover it - even though they kept charging us the full amount for those 9 months. When a manager got on the line that's when the lying started. Deceptive practices. The owner responded that they installed a "used" salt system as part of the service (no additional monthly cost for the use or repair cost involved). Total lie! It was part of the service cost they advertised, sold and charged! Was a good company for years before they became pool troopers. Let's see how their 99% satisfied customers feel when their system fails and they get hit with thousands in costs because pool troopers supposedly sent an email "gifting it". Thanks for nothing. No way I will use them again. Started using pinch a penny. They wound up being cheaper and my pool looks better than ever.
I am at a loss for words. We have been using this company for 8 months or so and in those 8 months, 6 times weâ ve have had to use cameras to identify the fact that the service technicians did not complete the service they were supposed to. In the most recent occurrenceâ ¦ we had to run the camera on our patio back for two months to ensure that we werenâ t crazy as our pool filter clogged up so bad that the motor began to make a screaming noise. I even got to the point on our complaints where i reached out to the Companyâ s CEO. I will tell youâ ¦ the issue with accountability definitely flows from the top. I wasnâ t looking for some type of reward, but only wanted to feel like some sort of accountability was taken with his team. He tried to cover up for them in every way possible. This is not the way to go.
Pool Troopers purchased a company I had been using for years that had excellent service. As soon as Pool Trooper took over, the service plummeted. The last month of service the service our Pool was completely green with algae. The service tech would walk on the pool deck, shake his head then walk off. When I fired them and hired a better company, Pool Troopers tried to keep chathing me then had the audacity to send my account to a collection agency for charges after I fired them. Worst choice for a pool company in Tampa Bay Area.â
STAY AWAY!!! Unauthorized credit card charges. Came out and did half the job then ghosted when called to come back and finish. Threats over the phone....UNBELIEVABLE!! This company is likely having major cash flow issues or is just run by thieves. BEWARE....you have been warned.
Their system keeps tripping my system. I pay 140 a month for service. My pool looks terrible and then they wanted to charge me an additional 140 just to come to look at it. What a rip off!
Pool Troopers have poor customer service, in our experience. Apparently, they bought our account from our previous pool company. They never called me. They kept charging our cc. I returned to FL to check on the house last week and found that just after they said they cleaned the pool, the skimmer was not working. There was also a bunch of debris on the pool floor. It was obvious that they didn't vacuum. I contacted them. They didn't return contact. I called them today to ask to talk to MGR. They said that they would call. They didn't call back as promised. I just researched Pool Troopers on the Better Business Bureau, Yelp and Home Adviser's platforms to check their other customers experiences. If you are considering Pool Troopers to work with, you need to review ALL these reviews as well as the company's responses. Wow! I will be contacting them again tomorrow to terminate our relationship and cancel our cc they have on file. Life is too short to waste it on company's like Pool Troopers.
Very rude and disrespectful employee. Jose claims to be a supervisor. Was here to fix a problem. I asked a question he proceeded to yell at me. I asked him why he was being so rude and he screamed at me & was racist. Never in my life would I accept that from a company I pay for service. Absolutely horrible experience. If this is an example of your fine employees I will find another company to service my pool. This is the second time I have run across such behavior. Another employee threatened an 80 year old man.
It is the WORST pool service ever. They will be very nice before nice to get you to sign up and suddenly treat you like you are nothing. The customer service is Awful, the technician came to my property SO many times and did ABSOLUTELY nothing whatsoever (I saw videos through my security camera) yet The company would send an automated timely email letting me know the service is competed. When I sent those videos to the management, Patrick (the manager who was very difficult to reach) was far from apologetic and said you are just one of the 400 customers in three weeks later, I am still waiting for a call back from the management DO NOT waste your money and fall for this SCAM company that is great at sending emails to give you a false sense of service being performed.
They claim no pool is ever left behind . Thats a flat out lie. They have always told me what I want to hear then did there own thing. I returned to Fl a week before my home was to close. All of my pool equipment was shut off and the hot tub was green. The basket on the filter had cracked and the water was shooting straight out of it. I immediately called & everything is sourced thru a local call woman who told me they would be out to look at the job first chance they had, four days later they told me what I already knew. They were not able to get a new basket which was prob good bc there cost was $600. +. I had to have the part sent from California then let them know when it arrived. I called today to let them know it was there. I received a call back and was told it would be a week and a half to 2 wks before they could get out to fix it. There a terrible company who only care abt being pd every month. Ive changed my debt card a number of times always get a call asking me why my payment wont go thru but do u think they could call when they literally broke the housing unit shut my pool down!!!! I may not be able to close on my home tom bc of them and have only kept them bc I traveled so frequently. I would not recommend this company to anyone! Ever!
